Arteta backs Kai Havertz for record-breaking season in front of goal

He's so competitive, so an example, after the game he came in against Leeds, he made a massive impact, you could see straight away what he did on the pitch, he left the pitch and he was so upset he didn't score a goal, he was happy he helped the team but so upset and that's the guy that we want, he's a player that wants to evolve and improve every single day, he loves the game, he loves to learn, he loves to feel important, he loves to feel that he can help other players as well, it's a giver, And that's why, from a very difficult season, which was a long period of time, for a nine to get back at this level is not easy and sometimes it takes time. And Kai has done it almost immediately from pre-season. And I'm not surprised because his mentality is top. Do you think he has that ability to be a 25, 30-goal super star? He has, I think he has, yeah. That's why he's playing there as well and that's why we signed him. I think he has it and he needs that volume of games and action. And if you give him that, I am a big believer that, yes, he can do that.
