(543) Peach and Pink Split Color Dutch Pour
Today, I'm testing out my new hairdryer on a split color dutch pour. I'm really happy with how this piece turned out. Some beautiful cells formed, and the golden details pop when the sunlight hits them!
The process:
I worked on a 10x20 inch canvas. I used white, light peach, dark peach, and gold acrylic paint for the pour. I thought this new hairdryer worked well because it has a small concentrator that helped me control the airflow and where each color goes. I kept the hairdryer on a low setting as I found the high was too powerful and was heating up the paint (which is never good for a Dutch pour).
