Blueberry and Jack Daniels Sausage

Have you ever imagined turning one of the world’s most famous cocktails into an artisan sausage?

In this video, I decided to take on that challenge and create a gourmet sausage inspired by the classic **Old Fashioned**. To do that, I combined pork loin with whole blueberries, reduced Jack Daniel’s, orange zest, and a carefully balanced selection of spices to create a sausage completely different from anything I’ve made on the channel before.

The goal wasn’t to make a sweet sausage or one that tastes strongly of whiskey, but rather to create layers of flavour where the meat remains the star, while the Jack Daniel’s, blueberries, maple sugar, and spices come through in a subtle and balanced way.
