In today’s video, we’re combining two of the most iconic classic cocktails of all time, the Manhattan and the Martini, into one monster drink I’m calling the Mantini! While these two whiskey and gin cocktails might seem worlds apart, they actually share a remarkably similar formula. We’ll explore a little cocktail history, make a classic Manhattan and a gin Martini using my favorite recipes, and then bring them together for the ultimate cocktail mash-up. I’ve never tried this combination before, so I have no idea if it’ll work. There’s only one way to find out. Cheers!

1 oz (30 ml) Rittenhouse 100 Proof Rye Whiskey
1 oz (30 ml) Martin Miller’s Gin
1/2 oz (15 ml) Cocchi Vermouth di Torino
1/2 oz (15 ml) Dolin Vermouth de Chambéry Dry
1 dash Angostura Bitters
1 dash Regan’s Orange Bitters No. 6
2 dashes St. George Absinthe Verte (optional)
Expressed lemon oil
Lemon peel and cherry garnish
