There's something new to check out at Disney's Boardwalk.
The Hurley Burley Lounge is now open in the old Jelly Rolls location.
And David Martin is there this morning.
He's showing us why we all need to go visit.
Hey, David.
I'm very excited about this one, Amy and John and Danielle.
It's a gorgeous facility.
It's called the Hurley Burley.
And one of the producers who works here, his name is Christopher.
Christopher, good morning to your friend.
Good morning.
How do you describe Hurley Burley to someone
who's just watching for the first time?
Hurley Burley, it's one of our new live entertainment and dining venues
here at Boardwalk, Disney's Boardwalk Resort.
So excited.
We've got family entertainment from 4 to 9 p.m.,
and from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m., we've got live music
every night of the week, seven days a week.
And what's great is you at home can come down,
free parking in the guest parking,
or you can validate at the Disney's Boardwalk Resort.
Can I show the audience the bar?
Yes, please.
All right, it is stunning.
Takes us back in time a little bit.
There's a retro vibe here, and that's very cool.
Let's introduce you to Brooke,
who's in charge of all the beverages at Hurley Burley.
Brooke, good morning to you, my friend.
Morning, good morning. How are you?
Good. What's Karina making for us this morning here on that?
She is making you the Caramel Corn Cold Brew.
It's one of our specialty non-alcoholic beverages,
and I think you're really going to like it.
That's terrific. Great for family-friendly events between 4 and 9 here.
And you do offer 21 and up drinks here
to our right. What do we have here?
So we have the Road to Fame, which is a take on a whiskey sour,
as well as a vodka cherry limeade,
which is inspired by a boardwalk favorite.
My gosh, they're gorgeous. Definitely social media-worthy photographs.
Thank you very much, Karina and Brooke.
By the way, they do have a menu.
The menu's nice.
It's a tasting menu, so there's food to eat here,
lots of splashy sips, too.
And everyone knows a good chef in town, but no one's better than Robby.
Chef Robby, how you doing, my friend?
Doing well, thank you.
How are you?
Good.
What do you have to present first on the table?
All right, so here we have our slow-cooked meatballs,
a little tomato gravy in there,
some stracciatella cheese and pecorino romano.
And then this is one of our favorites.
This is our apple cider donuts, paying that tribute
to all the apple orchards up in the northeast there,
with a miso caramel sauce.
with a miso caramel sauce.
Okay, we're going to have it.
Sweet and savory, that umami from the miso.
Yes.
Dynamite.
Did you have a good time making this menu?
Absolutely, it was a blast.
Yeah, and the kids, I bet, enjoy the donuts.
Yeah, yeah, they do for sure.
All right, thank you very much, Chef.
I appreciate that.
All right, back to our friend Christopher here about the entertainment.
So between 4 and 9, what kind of entertainment can families expect?
We've got family entertainment that's like trivia and other games
like Family Feud and Disney Bingo,
so a lot of different gaming that allows
the guests to have a great time.
And from 9 to 1 in the morning?
9 to 1 in the morning, we've got live music.
We've got four different genres of music.
We've got top 40.
We've got 70s, 80s, 90s.
We've got Motown, and we've got our modern vintage,
which is taking modern songs that we know today
and giving them a vintage vibe.
That's great.
All right, and again, is there a cover charge to get in?
There is no cover charge to get in.
All right, very good.
Let's ask our friends Danielle, John,
and Amy to turn on their microphones
because we're going to give you a sample
of what family-friendly entertainment is going to be here.
We have Danielle and Lee.
And what do you do here on the show?
We put on family fun entertainment.
So we have a lot of games for people that people
are familiar with these formats, right?
So we have trivia.
We have different versions of bingo,
proprietary Disney bingo, which is fantastic for the kids.
John, let's ask you, you want to play Disney trivia or general trivia?
Let's do Disney trivia.
Disney trivia.
We'll start with something easy.
All right.
So these are the hosts of the Disney trivia, all the trivia shows here.
Lee, what is an easy Disney question?
All right, here we go, David.
I heard you were good with names.
So don't give us the answer.
We're going to let them answer it.
Okay, beautiful, beautiful.
Here we go.
What is Baby Yoda's real name?
What is Baby Yoda's real name?
John, Amy, and Danielle.
What is Baby Yoda's real name?
I was thinking baby.
I don't know.
Baby Yoda's real name is...
There's all these Disney fans in town who are like,
you guys are idiots.
They're already buffing.
This is Luke.
This is the easy one.
I don't know.
There you go.
Just answer.
It's live TV.
He says Luke.
She said Michael.
Amy said Michael.
Okay.
Danielle.
We have Danielle up on stage here.
Danielle, what's the real answer?
Michael could be the middle name, but we know it to be Grogu.
Grogu.
Grogu.
Okay.
That's what we named our first daughter.
Here's a medium Disney question.
Go ahead.
Here we go.
In The Little Mermaid, what is the name of Prince Eric's dog?
In The Little Mermaid, Prince Eric's dog.
I didn't even know he had a dog.
They didn't even know he had a dog.
I'll go Rover.
Rover.
Rufus, Rover, and Danielle, what do you got?
Rio.
Rio.
Three R's.
Rio, Rufus, or Rover.
Are they close on the R's?
We're close.
It's Max.
She's so sweet.
She said we're close.
Okay, whatever.
Yeah, she's being nice.
All right, here's a hard Disney question.
Oh, no.
Here we go.
Here we go.
In The Muppets, what are the names of the two grumpy old men
who sit in the theater
balcony and heckle the performers?
I love this guy.
David, I send that meme to you at least three times a day,
and I terribly don't.
I know you do.
I don't either, David.
I don't know.
I'm just going to say, these guys stink.
Yeah, exactly.
You guys, that's what I'm saying.
They're imitating him.
These guys stink.
What are the names?
Staller and Waldorf.
Staller and Waldorf.
Of course.
All right, let's do some general trivia.
I've got time.
Let's do an easy general trivia.
We've got to redeem these poor anchors.
Here we go.
Here we go.
In the classic board game Monopoly,
what is the most expensive property on the board?
Park Place.
Park Place?
Park Place.
Oh, it's Park Place?
Yeah, Park Place.
Oh, they're, well, they're torn on Boardwalk and Park Place.
All together now, it's Boardwalk.
Good job.
Thank you.
Boom.
Okay, we're almost, we got one down.
I got one right.
Question for general.
All right, here we go, medium.
What is a group of flamingos officially called?
Group of flamingos, what are those called?
A flock.
Gaggle.
A smattering.
Flock, gaggle, smattering.
Are any of them right?
Flamboyance is the answer.
Flamboyance.
That's right, and you are very flamboyant.
Thank you very much to both of you.
Lee and Danielle, your hosts for all the trivia games.
All right, so do I need reservations there, Christopher,
to come here to the Hurley Burley?
You do not need reservations to come here to the Hurley Burley.
You just walk up to the door, check in with the hosts,
and if a table's ready, they'll sit you down.
That's my kind of venue.
Hurley Burley, now open here at Disney's Boardwalk Resort.
I love it.
Thank you, Christopher. Appreciate you.
Thank you.
Apparently it needs some education.
More music in the next hour.
Right, exactly.
We all do.
Something new to check out at Disney's Boardwalk,
The Hurley Burley Lounge is now open in the Jelly Rolls,
the old Jelly Rolls location.
David Martin has been showing it off this morning.
And wow, what a fantastic place, David.
This looks fun.
It's a good hangout for locals, too.
So don't think it because it's at Disney.
It's for tourists only.
This is really an attraction for us as well.
So says our friend Christopher here, who is the producer on the show.
How are you doing, my friend?
I'm doing well, thank you.
You've done a great job.
How do you describe the decor, the vibe of the Hurley Burley?
The vibe of the Hurley Burley
is that historic seaside theater, live theater.
So we've got the marine blues, we've got the corals in here.
So it really gives you that sense that you're along the boardwalk.
It is great.
Live entertainment every night.
We'll talk more about that in a second.
Let's go to the bar and get ourselves a cocktail
because it is Monday in the 9 o'clock hour.
And why not kick things off great and have a drink.
Hey, Brooke, how are you this morning?
I'm very well, thank you.
How are you?
Good.
I love the menu.
You've got your beers, you've got your wines,
you've got your splashy sips right here.
And it's a tasty menu.
What is Karina pouring right there?
She is making you the caramel corn old-fashioned.
Ooh, and that's your biggest seller.
Do I have that right?
The biggest seller here at Hurley Burley.
As well as it comes with a little sidecar of caramel popcorn.
Please feel free to take a taste.
Oh, if you insist.
And while I'll do that, why don't you tell
me what we have here in front of you.
What are these cocktails?
All right, so this one is the take on our spicy margarita.
So it's the La Tequila Picante.
It's complete with a spiced nutmeg rim.
And it's got a little bit of rose water in there, too.
So it's a very nice take on a spicy margarita.
as well as our martini, which is a true 50-50 martini,
and a just delicious martini with a great color,
perfect for our beautiful space here.
It is. I'm going to repeat the name, martini.
Martini, yes, inspired by Pauly Del Mar.
Very good.
Karina, that's a fabulous old-fashioned, I must say.
That'll put hair on your chest in a good way.
That is wonderful.
I want to just take this with me.
Thank you, Brooke. Thank you, Karina.
We'll see you in the next hour.
All right, you've got to have some food to go with the cocktail,
and no one better than a chef to do that,
and they have a wonderful one here.
Say hello to Chef Robbie once again.
Chef, how are you this morning?
I'm well, thank you.
I've had an old-fashioned.
I'm going to pair it with what?
This is our tomato pie.
Acacia bread, a little toasted roasted garlic, olive oil on there,
the tomato sauce then baked in the oven.
Comes out pecorino romano and oregano.
I like the size of these dishes.
They're tasting sizes.
They're very shareables.
Yes.
That's one of the things we want to do is have a very shareable menu.
I don't like sharing with Paolo, but if he insists, I will.
What do you share with this one?
This is our marinated shrimp roasted off in the oven.
Finished off with some sweet peppers, onions,
and a little champagne vinegar and Tuscan olive oil.
Oh, nice work.
So a lot of Italian in here, huh?
Yeah, a lot of Italian.
Good for you.
Are you Italian?
I am not.
Okay.
But I love Italian food, so.
And you have sweets here, too, I presume.
We do.
We do.
We have one.
We have the apple cider donuts.
Which we tried, by the way, in the last hour.
Comes with a miso caramel sauce.
Yeah.
So good.
All right.
Very good.
You're kicking it.
I love it very much.
Let's go meet the guy who's in charge of the entertainment once again.
Hello, Christopher.
So describe for us what the entertainment
is for all of the people coming out here.
Absolutely.
So the venue's open from 4 to 1 a.m., and from 4 to 9 p.m.,
we have family-focused entertainment,
so trivia and game show-type activities.
And then 9 o'clock, transition into that nighttime
with live music with four different genres of music
and five different bands throughout the week.
That's amazing.
Just to repeat, kids can come here between 4 and 9?
Correct.
Kids can come here between 4 and 9.
Okay, and then at 9 o'clock, it's a 21 and up crowd.
Correct.
Very good.
So, we wanted to give the audience a sample
of one of the bands here, and they are great.
So, on guitar, we have Ralph.
How you doing, Ralph?
And on vocals, we have Adriana.
Back on drums, Shakur from Jersey, but now living here in Orlando.
And on bass, we have John.
And Adriana, what song are you going to perform for us right now?
We're going to be doing Just the Way You Are by Bruno Mars.
Oh, it's a classic.
Can you believe it?
It's a wonderful tune.
All right, the stage is yours.
I just
might
tell
you
that
live
entertainment
at
Disney
has
always
been
top-notch.
You bring out some of the best musicians, best instrumentalists,
and you've got them on stage here seven nights a week.
Seven nights a week, yes.
Every single night, something different for everybody.
It's fabulous.
And there's no cover charge, no reservations needed.
Just walk on up and enjoy the party.
Congratulations on Hurley Burley.
Thank you so much.
This is so nice and now open.
Ladies, we'll send it back to you in the studio.
Oh, she sounds fantastic, right?
Yeah, they all do.
Moving and grooving on a Monday morning.
David Martin, thank you.
So it's something that's a little more less spooky.
So is there something new, speaking of,
to check out at Disney's Boardwalk?
Yeah, the Hurley Burley Lounge is now open
in the old Jelly Rolls location there on the Boardwalk.
David Martin has been there all morning showing us
the great talent they have,
the trivia questions, the food, the drink.
It all looks amazing, David.
It is amazing.
Listen, don't stop believing in Disney.
They keep bringing out the goods, and this one is amazing.

It was rude of me to cut them off
but I had to because John and Jessica and Amy,
I'd like to put your microphones back on
so you can redeem yourselves on the trivia.
So what do we have here?
What's the category we're doing?
Okay, we have a choice between food or sports.
All right, food or sports?
Food or sports?
Jessica, John, Amy.
If there's random food stuff, I won't know.
I would say sports.
Yeah, there's a little more common knowledge.
Okay, sports.
Let's go with easy sports.
Easy sports.
Okay, easy sports.
In bowling, what is the term used
when a player rolls three consecutive strikes in a row?
Ooh.
Turkey.
In bowling, three consecutive strikes.
Turkey.
They all scream turkey in my ear.
Turkey is right.
Turkey.
We're one for five.
All right, let's do a medium question.
All right, we'll kick it up.
What is the maximum number of golf clubs
a player is legally allowed to carry during an official round?
I bet John knows this one.
I'm over the limit right now.
I do know I'm over it.
I think it's 13.
13?
I think so.
I think so.
I'll guess 11.
I was going to say 8.
Way more than that.
13, 11, and 8.
Are they close?
14.
John was pretty good on that.
He didn't go over.
All right.
This is the most difficult level question for sports.
Go ahead.
All right.
Here we go.
What is the only country to have played in every single FIFA World Cup?
Paolo knows this one.
He's behind the camera.
He's got a big smirk on his face.
Brazil.
I think Paolo may be throwing us off.
I'm going to go with Spain.
Spain.
Argentina.
I said Brazil.
Jess says Argentina.
Spain, Brazil, Argentina.
It's Brazil.
Nice work, Ariel.
Am I out of time, Maria?
I'm out of time.
Okay, well, listen, this is the Curly Burley,
now open since October 1st.
Thank you to the great band Velvet Vanguard.
Exceptional.
Thank you, Lee.
Thank you, Danielle.
And thank you, Christopher.
Appreciate your time.
Thank you.
By the way, walk-ups, welcome here.
No reservations needed. Free parking,
too, at the Disney's Boardwalk Resort.
Hurley Brew.
That's cool. Thank you, David. That was fun.
It was fun.
We stink. Appreciate you.
