Will Hardy Reveals Keys for Improvement ahead of Utah Jazz Season Opener

Individually guarding the ball is a big one. Our physicality defensively and then rebounding defensively is going to be maybe the most pivotal thing for us the entire season. I think the possession battle is huge in the NBA. There's different ways to win the possession battle, rebounding being one of them. It's got to be an area where we see a bunch of improvement from the preseason. It's a responsibility to everybody. Offensively, right now we're just trying to be organized. I think organization over beauty is probably how we're thinking right now, especially as we're bringing some new guys into the program and trying to get used to everybody playing together. We're trying to be super tight with the organization, and then at the end of those possessions, crashing the glass. Yeah, it's a hard one. I think we need to improve in all areas, so it's hard to sit here and say there's one thing that I'm particularly happy with. I think in general the spirit of the team is very good. This is a competitive group, the way that they push each other in practice, but also the relationships that I see forming amongst the team, the way they're communicating with each other is something that will serve us very well as we move through the season. But as far as technical things that I'm pleased with, it's a short list right now.
