Welcome to TMZ Live.
It may have taken 30 years,
but it is possible that we now know where the murder weapon ended
up, the one that O.J. Simpson used to kill his ex-wife,
Nicole Brown Simpson, and Ron
Goldman.
And guess what?
It was a block from my house.
Well, yes, that is the sub-headline.
That is the sub-headline.
The location actually being close to your house.
It is a weird cross, I don't know how that would possibly happen, but.
The bigger thing is who the alleged accomplice would be here.
And it is a guy with mafia ties who was in the mafia who,
according to his brother, actually went to help O.J.
the night of the murders, June 12th, 1994, and came home bloodied,
covered in blood in his clothes, his hands.
And he had a bag. This is the important part.
He had a bag that was weighted down with something heavy.
and the guy's name is Joey Ippolito.
His brother, Sam, spoke to the New York Times
and talked about what Joey went through that night.
Well, Joey also spoke to the feds
because aside from being in the mafia,
he was a convicted drug dealer.
He escaped from prison.
I don't think that's aside from being in the mafia.
I think that is actually part of why he was in the mafia.
When you're a mafioso and you're good,
you don't go to prison.
Uh, no, no, no, no. I would say a good mafioso gets pinched
and he goes to prison and does his time and does...
But listen, we're not going to get into the mafia here.
That's not what we're getting off for.
So, he ended up talking to feds
and he told them basically the story that he told his brother.
And this was back during the investigation.
June 12, 1994, at about 6 in the evening,
Joey left and came back at midnight.
Remember, O.J. killed Ron and Nicole at around 10 at night.
He came back at midnight,
his hands were bloody, and he brought that bag.
And so his brother says that Joey took his clothes off,
put them in the bag,
and his hands, as Charles said, were bloody, and he called Al Cowlings.
Now, that name may ring a bell
because Al Cowlings was O.J. Simpson's best friend.
He's the guy who was driving the Bronco on the slow-speed chase.
so the way the New York Times is writing it
and based on everything I know it this is believable
that Al Cowlings according
to the Times it seemed like they made it seem like Al Cowlings knew
where the knife was knew where
the bloody clothes were that OJ Simpson had worn
and that Eppolito was the golden retriever
who picked them up and then took them back
to their apartment is the apartment he shared
with his brother on Doheny Drive
and actually and once they were there joey says
to his brother sam get rid of this meaning the bag
and sam says he took that bag to a construction site
on Doheny Drive a few blocks from your home
not less than a few blocks it was like a block from my house
and he threw it in a dumpster out
at this construction site
so so where now stupid me i didn't go dumpster diving that
diving that night and here i am reporting
on the OJ Simpson story from start to finish
and the knife was literally
a stone's throw perhaps there's part of this that i find
questionable but parts of the story
that just don't let me tell you why i find unbelievable
O.J. Simpson, after he killed Ron and Nicole,
went back to his house in Rockingham.
And he was in a panic because he was being picked up
by a limo to take him to LAX to fly him to Chicago.
So O.J. was in the backyard
and he hits the air conditioner at the guest house.
And Kato Kaelin, who was in the guest house, heard the thud.
oj was dropping he dropped the glove and probably the knife
and that um oj then threw his clothes
somewhere but those clothes were never found the knife was never found
and it would seem that so
here's the thing if if joey the cleaner
so to speak goes to pick up the knife why did joey
leave a glove because he didn't see it
because a bad cleaner he didn't see it because it was dark
Or O.J. didn't drop the knife there.
He just dropped the glove, and he took the knife inside.
But whatever it is, and I can tell you, I know,
because I was there when they did a sweep of his property.
They never found the knife.
They never found his clothes.
So somebody got rid of them.
Somebody got rid of those clothes.
I agree there.
Somebody got rid of that knife.
There had to be some accomplice to get rid of all that stuff.
There had to be an accomplice.
So why not Joey?
So here's the thing.
The feds are saying, we told prosecutors about Joey,
and they knew it, and they never called him to the stand.
So, honestly, I think this is a bum rap for prosecutors,
but the person who would probably be in the best position
to know was one of the two lead detectives on the case.
Yes. If you follow the OJ case, you know the name,
Tom Lange, the former LAPD officer who was the detective,
who was the lead detective, as you say,
one of the lead detectives on this case.
And he is joining us now to talk about the possible accomplice
in Mr. Ippolito. Tom Lang, welcome back to TMZ Live.
My pleasure.
Sure. So, Tom, the New York,
I'm sure you read the New York Times story.
How much credence do you put in this story
that Joey Ippolito was the cleanup man?
Pretty close to zero. How come? Zero.
Well, again, I'd have to tell you this,
but homicide cops deal with evidence, not supposition.
You have a central figure in the story now
who's been dead for a number of years.
his brother came out with a lot of information
that's been questioned his credibility has been
questioned i don't know one way
or the other it makes for an interesting story as far as
entertainment goes but as far
as evidence goes there's nothing really there but Tom did you
did the LAPD I know that uh Joey had spoken
to the feds um but did you ever have an opportunity
Did LAPD have an opportunity to interview Joey Ippolito?
No, we never did.
Now, that's not saying that there wasn't information regarding him.
But this case, like in most high-profile cases, if not all of them,
you get a lot of information that's erroneous coming in.
So we built a so-called flu file.
Initially, we had like 518 of these call-ins, various information.
And we had to categorize them.
Some of them were worth looking at
Others weren't
As far as Zappolito goes
We did have his name
I believe in three different
So-called clues, call-ins
But they were from other organizations
One from my ABC News
And it was I believe in 1992
No, 19...
Oh gosh
Anyway, it had to do with the federal indictments
We got a call from the feds
as saying that Zappolito was involved with AC colleagues.
They didn't say how.
They didn't say what ties that that would have with the case.
They just said this is for your background information,
only that they were looking into an investigation,
a federal investigation regarding Apolito.
That's all.
They had nothing to do with the murders.
We did take a look at that again.
This had nothing to do with our case.
Evidence-wise or any other thing,
In any high-profile case, you get a lot of people calling in.
We got eight people that called in and admitted to the murder, okay?
You know, Harvey, you've been around a long time.
You know these things happen.
And so you have to kind of, you got to look
at all of them that you picked through them.
And so this, to me, was just, it had nothing to do with it.
no relevance at all when they're trying.
I get your point, but I think we do agree on this,
that somebody cleaned up for O.J. Simpson.
He left too quickly that he could not have disposed of that knife,
his clothing and whatever other evidence there was.
And, you know, a lot of people have kind
of insinuated that Al Cowling's either helped
and we don't have direct evidence of that or evidence of that.
Um, but I know a guy, um, who was on the LAPD police force,
um, a cop friend of mine who
worked for a guy named Wayne Hughes
who owned public storage and Wayne Hughes had employed
Al Cowlings after the murders.
And Wayne Hughes told my cop friend who worked for LAPD,
um, Al Cowlings is telling me way
too much about those murders i don't want to know about it
so it feels like he knew something
somebody cleaned up
so it could be a Polito well i don't know what you mean by clean up uh
as far as the knife goes
if that's what you're talking about yeah we actually have a witness
at the airport that saw Simpson probably within 45 minutes after
the murders before the bodies
had been even discovered at the airport getting
on a flight to go to Chicago, standing by
the left side of the entrance of the airport,
the American Airlines, with a little tote
bag on top of the container,
taking items out of the container, shoving them down into
the trash container, and zipping it up,
picking it up, and walking back into the airport.
I remember that well,
but that guy didn't see what was taken out of the bag.
But I get your point.
that's certainly better than hearsay
or or someone thinking that this may have happened
and that may have happened
this is a solid witness nobody says that's direct evidence
but circumstantially that looks pretty good as far as time wise
and everything else so that's
the story you asked you know where the murder weapon could
be or how did he clean up certainly
that to me is more relevant than any anybody
talking about hearsay saying well this could
have happened because so-and-so said it now joey apolito
of course is dead which makes it pretty
convenient for that story to be out there
so you think uh do you think his brother sam his brother
Sam spoke to the New York Times, are you saying
that Joey lied to his brother or is his brother
telling stories to the New York Times? Well, uh, Sam, he doesn't have
a reputation, his credibility
has been questioned in that very
article, the New York Times article.
a lot more than I could, for people
who have a lot more information on him
than I do. Again, this is
not evidence of anything.
if there's anything there,
then you've got to pick it up,
regardless of whether or not the case
has been solved, which it has been solved.
He wasn't convicted,
it doesn't mean the case wasn't solved.
So, this is
interesting to talk about, but
where's the meat? Where's the beef?
I don't know.
Okay, good Clara Peller reference.
I got to say, Tom, it's really great seeing you.
We really appreciate you coming on.
You too, Harvey. Good seeing you.
Coming up, Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed
on the campaign trail this weekend.
And things got pretty heated
when someone in the audience of a town hall he was having
asked a question about his alleged ties to the Muslim Brotherhood.
So I want to disagree with something.
Be right back.
Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed on the campaign trail this weekend.
And things got pretty heated when someone in the audience
of a town hall he was having asked a question.
A question he's been asked before
and has answered before about his ties to the Muslim Brotherhood.
Or his alleged ties to the Muslim Brotherhood.
I will say that he has often deflected his answer and instead kind
of shamed the person who asked it, insinuating that it might be racist,
that it was inappropriate, it was irrelevant.
And that's one of the reasons he's been criticized is that it's
a question that a lot of people think is a fair question,
not because he necessarily is directly tied,
but he has family members who are tied.
So it seems, according to tweets that NBC found from his half-sister.
So the question came up again from a guy named Tommy,
who is now famous for this back-and-forth that he had with El-Sayed.
Will you disavow the Muslim Brotherhood?
What's your name?
No, what's your name?
No, what's your name?
No, no, what's your name?
No, your friend's got the mic here. Would you answer?
I'm asking you a simple question.
You give me your name, I'll answer the question.
Okay, Tommy.
Hi, Tommy, how are you?
I'm great.
Are you?
Do you know what the Constitution of the United States is?
I have one question.
Will you disavow the Muslim Brotherhood?
Sure.
Yeah, absolutely.
But I want to ask the question that you're asking.
Why are you asking the question?
Well, because they're a terrorist group.
Okay.
No, no, but what are you implying?
Do you assume that I wouldn't?
Yes.
Why not?
Because I have not heard you disavow them yet.
Have you disavowed them?
I haven't heard you disavow them yet.
I disavowed them.
Do you?
You're great.
But here's the thing about it.
You're asking the question
because implicitly you assume that I'll have dual loyalties.
Do you know who John F. Kennedy is?
When he ran for president, he was asked whether
or not he was going to have allegiance to the Pope at the Vatican.
Because, of course, he's Catholic.
And his answer, famously,
was that he was not running to be a Catholic president.
He was running to be president and happened to be Catholic.
I'm not running to be a Muslim senator.
I'm running for U.S. Senate and happen to be Muslim.
So I want to disagree with something.
I remember I was 10 years old when John F. Kennedy said this,
and it's a disingenuous statement.
He was a Catholic president, and that is not a bad thing.
It's that you bring your own views
and what you learn growing up into who you are today.
And he was a Catholic president, and it's a legit question to say,
hey, there might be an abortion issue,
there might be another issue, and how does that impact you?
No, no, no, and I agree with you.
And the same thing with El-Sayed.
No, no, no, this is a bad comparison.
He compared it.
Because the comparison, if you're saying that,
is that everyone who's Muslim must have some terrorist ties.
No, the reason he's being asked that is because his specific family,
according to NBC and some other reports, did have ties.
I'm not saying he does, but the family did.
And I'm not saying he's definitely part of it.
I'm just saying it's a legitimate question,
and he was trying to shame this guy.
If the question was coming from the point of view of your family
members, but I don't think that's what we're asking here.
I mean, the guy didn't say, Tommy didn't say anything about the family.
He didn't say about family members. He said,
because I haven't heard you disavow it.
And the question I asked of John F. Kennedy was not whether you
will bring your Catholic thoughts and feelings to the office.
It was whether you would have allegiance to the Pope.
And that is a horrible question because we never would ask.
Right, because now you're asking Al-Sayed,
do you have allegiance to terrorist groups because you're Muslim?
This would be the equivalent of asking Joe Biden,
do you have allegiance to the Pope?
I hear you. If Tommy had said, well,
this is how your sister tweeted this.
If that's what Tommy had said, then that makes sense.
And I get it.
But Tommy didn't say that.
But that's the shorthand of what's going on here.
Because he's also used this in other venues.
and he did say, you know, at a point, very quickly,
you know, I absolutely disavow it.
I mean, you kind of hear it, but that was the question.
And, you know, and I get it.
They didn't mention the family, but that's why this is being asked.
First of all, El-Sayed has talked about this.
He's talked about the fact that it was his half-sister and his mother
who had no relationship at all, and he has disavowed it.
No, no, no, he said that. He did say that.
But then there have been times
when he hasn't gone the additional step and disavowed it.
That's what our chat is noting, that it seems like he's a bit defensive
and that he doesn't totally disavow it and kind of changes the topic.
And they're confused on, well, if he has no ties himself,
why would he kind of evade the question like that?
I think just, look, I have a lot of misgivings about al-Sayed,
but I think to say that he has been waffled at all
on his disavowal of the Muslim Brotherhood is just
not paying attention to what he has said all along.
You're just wrong on that.
I'm not.
Look, he just disavowed it there.
So, you know, take him at his word.
But there have been plenty of times he goes to that,
How dare you ask me that question.
In a way, his disavowal gets overshadowed
by his going on the attack against the question.
When Donald Trump was pressing Barack Obama on his birth certificate,
which was a hugely racist attack.
Well, it was totally racist.
Barack Obama refused to engage in that conversation.
He refused to talk about it at all.
But here's the difference. The difference is that with Barack Obama,
it was pure racism on Donald Trump's part.
Donald Trump, I'm sorry for saying this,
but Donald Trump is totally racist with al-Sayed,
calling him Mohammed and accentuating it.
It's just racist. But the question is not rooted in,
oh, because you're Muslim.
The question is rooted in, you've got family members,
so just give us an answer to this.
I think you are bending over backwards
to find Tommy not to be a racist.
that question is based in racism it just is is there
is there not a difference between saying
there is somebody is muslim
and therefore i i have the question versus you have family members
so what about you addressed that point many times defensively
and that's the odd part
jay's anatomy atlanta georgia i definitely feel
like it definitely has some undertones of racism
and you definitely have to be careful on the context
and when you're saying stuff like that
because we know the climate that we're in.
And so I feel like it's very easy for us to identify
when we hear things like this
because we see it in our own administration.
So I definitely can see where the undertones
can definitely be giving the wrong message.
Selena Gomez has a big announcement about her voice
or what has been potentially changing her voice.
Yeah.
You all right?
You got to clear your throat there?
I got to vape.
You don't vape, that we know of.
But Selena does,
and um seems like she has made a big decision about
that nicotine is so hard to quit and i
think i just wanted to say if you're going through it
or if you're even trying to vape it's just not
worth it it it's it's so stupid and it's changed my voice
but um i am really excited because i
stopped and i just hope we can keep it up it's really hard
but i know if you are going through
something you can get through it too it was weird
to hear her say anyway i'm really excited yeah
about quitting vaping this is me excited
no but clearly it is difficult i mean vaping has become
a very addictive thing that i see people walking
around like just constantly with the vape in their
hands and there there's a guy in my i saw a guy
in my gym over the weekend who was working out
and then all of a sudden i see smoke coming out of his mouth
and he was vaping in the gym it's
become a serious addiction and as to whether
or not it's actually changed her voice some of her
fans have noticed there's a change
in fact there's apparently i haven't seen this guy but someone's
saying there's a guy in TikTok
who has been doing an impersonation of her new voice which is my
which is why she may be doing this and maybe
yeah might have brought it to her attention
Coming up...
Things are getting spicy on Dancing with the Stars.
There is now a suspension of a dancing pro on Dancing with the Stars.
Either way I'm calling BS on this, but go on.
Uh, well, okay. Well, the suspended dancer is Val Chmerkovsky.
Be right back.
TMZ's got every freaking thing.
Big celebs, big stories, big events.
Donald Rollins took TMZ DC on a city tour.
You know what the irony of this is?
A black man takes a white person to the White House.
I think they're getting spicy
on Dancing with the Stars.
Normally, when we talk about suspensions
and sports and things like that...
It's serious stuff.
It's very serious stuff.
There is now a suspension of a dancing pro on Dancing with the Stars.
By the way, I'm calling BS on this, but go on.
Okay, well, the suspended dancer is Val Chmerkovsky.
Easy for you to say.
Yes, he's been a pro on the show for many, many, many years.
His wife, Jenna Johnson, is also a pro on the show.
And last week, there was some heavy criticism of her,
in particular from one of the judges, Carrie Ann Inaba.
Right.
So this is what Val posted.
It's a little coded, but I think you'll be able to see through it.
He said, you almost saw Fresh Prince enter the ballroom last night.
Okay, so to decode that,
Fresh Prince
Will Smith
Will Smith on Family Feud
the number one answer
slapping Chris Rock
so are you insinuating you might slap
Carrie Ann Inaba
that's the way they did
a somersault on the dance floor
to suspend
Val for one show
they suspended him for one show
by the way Carrie Ann Inaba saw
what Val posted and she
He said something, posted something in response saying like,
oh, is this what we're doing now?
And Val did at that point apologize, although I think his apology,
did his apology come before or after the suspension?
No, his apology came after news got out
that he would not be appearing on this week's show.
So after the suspension, he said, I made a poor decision to reference
a meme to keep my wife's name out of the conversation without stopping
to think through what else that reference could imply.
Keep my wife's name out of your mouth.
I mean, right.
Because right after Will Smith said that,
he slapped the you-know-what out of Chris Rock.
So, yeah, of course people are going to take it that way.
He's definitely playing dumb, as in, oh,
I didn't know that anyone else could read it that way.
Have you ever heard somebody say, I'm so mad I could kill you?
They're not really going to kill you.
You know, it's like an expression.
Usually.
He's not going to slap Carrie Ann.
He is not going to slap Carrie Ann.
This is a publicity stunt that the show is using to get people to watch
And then next week, watch
when Val comes back with his tail between his legs.
Well, I would say this week is the week
to watch in regards to Fresh Prince
because Tatiana Ali, who played
the younger sister in Fresh Prince Bel-Air,
is one of the celebs.
Oh, wow.
So they're going to use this as reference back.
And they want you to think.
Maybe he will, but they certainly want you
to think that Will Smith is going to show up.
So this week is dedication night,
And she chose to dedicate it to James Avery,
who played Uncle Phil on the show.
So there have been whispers, rumors, hopes and desires.
And why wouldn't Will want to be there to honor?
That Will Smith would be there.
B.S.
B.S.
B.S.
Our chat is agreeing.
They say Carrie Ann is also,
was kind of in the wrong in that situation.
They think this is all just PR stunt, not worthy of a suspension.
Carrie Ann is like the Simon Cowell of Dancing with the Stars.
So she is the toughest, and she gets very, very, very technical.
Wait a second.
Who's Val dancing with?
So, he's with Jenna Dewan from The Rookie, from Step Up.
So, what happens to Jenna?
Does she have to dance with someone else?
She's dancing with a pro who was previously eliminated, Alan.
Who's great.
He is great, but a lot of people say he's not Val.
And Val and Jenna have already developed
this chemistry that will not be there this week.
Is this not just painfully obvious to all, Carrie Ann?
I want to know.
This is a PR stunt.
It totally is.
Who is the commissioner of Dancing with the Stars?
Really?
Who is the commissioner?
ABC.
Who are the execs?
Yeah.
Hi, my name is Paris. I'm from Miami.
But honestly, I feel like he's not wrong for my husband
to come like that behind me if I was his wife.
So that's all I got to say.
So you just like the fact that he was defending
his wife regardless of the references to violence.
Of course.
The references to violence.
Oh, my God.
Coming up, our TMZ DC crew is on a road trip.
In Texas, there's governor's race.
Indeed.
And our Jacob Wasserman got himself
a little interview with the governor.
Pick it up. That's for you.
This is for me?
This is for you. Toss it back.
I got something really embarrassing to say.
I'm gluten free.
Be right back.
Our TMZ DC crew is on a road trip
because with two weeks to go before election day,
they are out meeting the candidates where they are.
They're not in DC right now.
They are all out on the campaign trail.
So we have been in Ohio and Michigan.
Now they're in Texas.
Yeah.
And in Texas, there's governor's race.
Indeed.
And our Jacob Wasserman got himself a little interview
with the governor, Governor Greg Abbott.
At the governor's mansion in Austin.
Indeed.
There was a big reception going on, campaign event.
And Jacob spoke to the governor.
Let me just explain Gen Z stomach issues.
What you are about to see is just, I find, somewhat humiliating for us.
And this has been the case at every stop with Jacob.
Oh my gosh, what's, oh, whoa.
Pick it up, that's for you.
This is for me?
This is for you.
Toss it back.
I got something really embarrassing to say.
I'm gluten free.
I can't drink beer.
I know it's kind of a wussy thing to say.
Hey, no, no, no.
You're dismissed from Texas.
Honestly, it's fair to say.
I'm sure you saw Katie Zakaria.
She's the White House press secretary.
She got fired.
She did almost half a Scaramucci, actually, five days.
Anyone that comes to mind that you would like to see?
I have no idea.
You know what I think is pretty good?
Yeah.
You ought to consider it.
He may have a problem with your lack of gluten,
but something you may consider is just going to the White House.
You should go interview for the job.
Me?
Yeah, you.
You think I'd be a good White House press secretary?
What makes you say that?
Just because I'm like a super nice guy or what?
No, because you're sharp, you're articulate.
You can know how to punch and punch back as it concerns the media.
Okay, this is a good chance to tell President Trump
that maybe I should step up to the plate.
As he's looking for the right guy, the
right guy may be right in front of him.
Wow, what a night for me.
Only way to celebrate it is with a beer.
I might have to break the whole gluten-free thing right now, man.
Someone beer me.
Here, can you film me?
Yeah, here we go.
You know, if I get, like, a stomach issue...
We got you covered.
Hey, wait for...
That's beautiful.
That's beautiful.
This is the real deal right here.
Look at that.
Right here at the Texas governor's mansion.
History was made.
That's not bad.
There you go.
All right, hey, if anything happens
to my stomach, it's on you, governor, all right?
That's all right.
We'll take responsibility.
Even the guy behind Jacob knows that that was complete BS.
That was the most embarrassing chug I've ever seen in my entire life.
There is a PS to this story.
Two hours after this, he called me.
Jacob calls me.
From a bathroom?
And has, he's, my stomach is going crazy right now.
He is just like the Gen Z-ness of him all.
But it's like, if the governor of Texas offers you a beer,
like, you don't have to drink it, but at least just accept it.
Just drink it, take a sip.
You cannot, you've got to read the room,
you can't say you're gluten-free.
When he had the popcorn, the red-hot popcorn.
The red-hot popcorn, red-hot cheese popcorn.
And he's telling El-Sayed, I'm gluten-free,
and he makes him eat it, and Jacob starts coughing.
And it's just, you know, I just, I mean,
by the way, there's a much easier route.
He could have just said, thank you, Governor, I can't drink on the job.
So, by the way, we're sending them on a budget,
and it's a tight budget.
So, I guess they had some silent complaints
because they didn't say this to you.
They did not send it to me.
No, but they sent it around to some other people.
They sent this picture to certain members
of the staff of the swimming pool.
Devin, what did they say to you?
So, they sent me this photo,
or Jacob sent it to me and Charlie and said,
Charlie, are you ready to take a dip in the pool?
Because Charlie hadn't gotten there yet.
So, this is their beautiful stay in Austin.
And then also, I forgot to even bring this up.
But Jacob sent me a video of the faucet in the bathroom,
and it had broken off when he turned it on, so there's a jet of water.
Okay, so this is good.
We are actually—we meant to do this on a budget,
and very clearly we are doing it on a budget.
So hold on.
Let's call Charlie.
Oh, you want to put him on the spot?
Yeah, I want to find out why he's talking crap
to members of the staff sending pictures.
Exactly.
If you've got a complaint, talk to the boss.
Hey, you're on TMZ Live right now.
Why are you sending pictures of that swimming pool
like you're in some kind of a war zone
to members of the staff but not me?
That's not the only photos I send you.
Oh, yeah.
There's more.
There's way more.
There's way more, brother.
Try not to complain.
Well, if you have a complaint.
What do you mean?
What, you're not tough enough to go on the road?
I mean, I guess we are.
Like, here we are.
We didn't complain to you, did we?
We just bitched about it.
Yeah, you bitch about it to everybody else on the staff,
and I walk in on Monday, and I'm looking
at pictures of a green swimming pool.
Right.
Well, I'm sorry that I raised it.
I was trying not to put you through it.
Yeah, but, Charlie, we didn't send you
on the road to go swimming anyway.
Right.
What the hell?
Let's say the pool was pristine.
So what?
That's not why you're there.
Yeah.
You want to see the hair all over my shower?
That's not why.
Was that before or after you got in it?
Yeah, really.
Really, you're one to talk.
We're just happy he actually looked at the shower.
I mean, we don't know that he used it.
Okay.
We got to go.
Goodbye.
Hey, Dane Drebin from Gig Harbor, Washington.
I just wanted to say it may be embarrassing
that he wasn't able to finish a beer, but
it's also a little bit more embarrassing
for Republicans that they are throwing parties
just days away from this huge election, in my opinion.
It's not a great look, in my opinion,
if you're trying to win over people that are
struggling with real problems at this point in time.
Yeah, the election is going to be interesting.
I'm going to say something, you know, screw it.
I hate these moments.
I voted this weekend.
Oh, you did?
I did.
I'm studying my ballot.
Can I be honest with you about something that I did?
On these propositions that cost money?
Oh, Harvey, don't talk about this.
No, can I just say?
I know, you already told me this,
that you were voting no on every proposition.
I did, because we paid 15% income tax in California.
They should manage their money better,
as opposed to just saying, gimme, gimme, gimme, gimme, gimme.
they've got so much money and they're not they don't spend wisely
and i'm sorry but that's so
that's what i did you're just a no on anything
that costs no no and a lot of it all right donnie
Wahlberg is beyond lucky to be alive
those are his words after a near disaster on his private jet
uh a private jet that did not make takeoff ended up skidding off
the runway this is in vegas in
vegas um and he talked about it shortly after he's still
on the tarmac here uh talking about
what happened on this flight we're all okay i'm okay we uh we
were taken off and didn't get up in
the air and uh ran out of runway
and the runway is way over there i'm just going to tell you these
pilots saved our lives and um god covered us
because we were uh i'm not sure how many fences
we avoided but um we didn't avoid the last one
but uh we avoided those trucks and heavy equipment
and uh the dumpsters behind that it's good wow
that is wow could have been so much worse the
first thing i thought about was the accident oh yeah travis barker
and dj am oh you know the first
thing i i that's the the thing i thought about
was do you remember the plane this was nine months ago
that was landing, and the brakes failed,
and it ended up hitting the wall and exploding.
Yes.
Everybody died.
Yeah.
So that, when he talks about the tractor
and all the other stuff there, oh, my God.
I mean, they are so lucky.
I mean, I'm amazed he can do that right now.
I mean, he's right.
Those pilots, whatever they did to avoid all of that.
We don't know what happened to the plane.
We don't know why it couldn't take off.
But man, that is close.
Coming up!
I wrote a poem in class, in first grade.
Out of the night, when the moon is bright, on a flying machine comes
a witch that's never seen except on Halloween.
Be right back.
No better time of year to be on the TMZ After Dark Tour.
Because spooky season, as they say.
And this week, forget about the Green Goblin.
And I know he got a lot of pub with Spider-Man and all that.
There's a real goblin.
And he was hosting on the TMZ After Dark Tour.
I know I said he's a real goblin.
I'm not sure what, how do you get certified?
He's not only a real goblin, but he's the world's most famous goblin.
Well, how do you get certified as a real goblin?
I mean, he's obviously not a real goblin.
When you see him in real life, I was terrified.
I was like, oh, my goodness.
Holy crap.
Can I tell you something?
What?
Who is this guy?
So this is John Gobblecon.
He's in a heavy metal band.
He has a podcast.
John Gobblecon?
John Gobblecon.
He has a famous podcast where he has celebrities on.
He's also in a goblin metal band.
Their songs have millions of views.
I don't like the way you're smiling, Harvey.
Well, no, there's a reason I'm smiling.
Why?
No, it's not that.
I just literally was watching, I'm watching this video,
and I thought of something I did when I was six years old.
What the?
Okay.
I wrote a poem in class, in first grade, and I actually,
I was just thinking as you were talking, I think I remember it.
It's the first thing I ever wrote.
Do you really want to hijack this segment right now?
Yeah.
Okay.
Out of the night, when the moon is bright, on a flying machine comes
a witch that's never seen except on Halloween.
There are ghosts and goblins and dragons too,
which I guarantee will frighten you.
I will end this poem because I have to say,
be careful on this special day.
wait guys
what are you cheering for
what are you cheering for
the fact that he remembers
it is crazy
John Gobblecon
I remember, I remember, yeah
on the TMZ tour
here's my question
do goblins drink
as many shots
as regular folk
oh yeah more
more
in fact more
he was such a good host
so funny
we had an amazing DJ
shout out to DJ Blue
TMZ tours is taking

are blowing up okay you're speaking my
language so so just a public public service announcement
but also a warning be looking at
our tour page constantly because people
are starting to complain this is time of year you
got a book early yeah okay every weekend we put polls up
on the website to find out how you feel
about things we posted last week we did it this weekend
and here are the results gosh i'm still
reeling from that story not bad bigger embarrassment
for Trump, Kimberly Guilfoyle or Katie Zachariah
What a good question.
I think they're going to say Katie.
Yeah, she's fresher.
I think so.
Oh!
Oh!
Interesting.
Okay.
Diddy's prison transfer, discipline for bad behavior,
or protecting him from beatdowns?
I think it's protecting him from beatdowns.
They're protecting him from beatdowns.
I think that's what it is.
Yep.
Indeed.
There you go.
They get it.
They know what's going on.
Abdul El-Sayed's religion makes him more progressive
or less progressive.
This is what an actual voter was asking when we were in Michigan.
And we asked him, too.
Yeah.
Wow.
That is very interesting.
I'm interested in that.
How?
That is really interesting.
Okay, next.
Elon's flying Tesla Roadster.
Genius game changer or recipe for disaster?
They're going to say that, but it's a game changer.
It could be both.
That's just hating on Elon.
No, that's hating on, I think, human beings.
I definitely don't want you in one of those cars.
The Jetsons was what everybody was craving.
It's fine. Give me George Jetson as my co-host
then, but you can't do it.
Baby steps.
Coming up.
Kylie Jenner was the belle of the ball.
The ball being the Victoria's Secret fashion show,
and she got the honor of wearing the $50 million bra.
Be right back.
Kylie Jenner was the belle of the ball.
The ball being the Victoria's Secret fashion show,
and she was chosen over all of the actual Victoria's Secret angels.
actual angels she got the honor of wearing the 50 million dollar bra
ridiculous ridiculous
this is a little controversial look it looks beautiful
and all that but one why are they spending 50 million dollars to make a
bra I still don't believe
that is not actually sold it doesn't go anywhere I
don't believe that the number doesn't
make sense right 50 million dollars to
blow that way. And then, how about all the
actual models who are like,
why are you going with... Yes,
Kylie Jenner, obviously, we know what the appeal
is, but she's not...
She's not one of us. Do you have an answer
to that? Headlines.
This is exactly why they picked
her. And, you know, the people that have
worn the fantasy bra in the past have been
Heidi Klum, Miranda Kerr,
Gisele, like the main top
of the top angel. So, yes, you're right.
This was very controversial.
But Chris was there.
Timothee Chalamet was there.
Front row cheering her on.
So Timothee Chalamet is there.
And people are wondering why Kylie Jenner.
I mean, come on.
Models, you know, Ace Hardware is hiring.
I'm just saying, I happen to see Megan Thee Stallion also walking.
Yes, performed.
She might have been a good choice for it also.
Wow.
Because.
You don't have to.
You don't have to.
You get it.
What else do you guys want to talk about?
I'm Elsie from D.C. I am commenting
on the O.J. Simpson accomplice story.
Yeah. So it's important to note
that O.J. Simpson was not found innocent.
He was found not guilty, meaning that if he were to be no,
meaning that there was not enough reasonable doubt to convict him.
There was enough reasonable doubt rather
to convict him of these charges.
No, there wasn't. I was there. There was no reasonable doubt.
I mean, yes, but he was. You are correct.
Technically, yes, that is what happened.
But he was found liable. He was found liable in a civil case.
I'm so sorry, this is my first time on,
but there was no reasonable doubt to find him innocent.
I know, let's just summarize it. He's guilty. One more.
Hey there, this is the Sci in Scottsdale, Arizona, and I wanted
to talk about the Greg Abbott incident with the TMZ reporter.
Yes, it was an incident.
I think it's mostly, it's less about the beer aspect
and more about how the governor is able to communicate to the audience,
given that he's facing a tough reelection battle against Gina Hinojosa.
So at the end of it, I think that it's less beer
and more really about engaging with the public.
Yeah, I mean, that's what he was trying to do.
And by the way, we got Gina as well over the weekend,
and you can check that out on our website.
We got her in front of a fast food joint, too.
She did not offer a beer, though.
Jacob is doing everything that's food-related now.
He did the same thing with AOC.
Which is risky with him.
I know.
Coming up.
John Legend and Chrissy Teigen
were at a Halloween celebration over the weekend.
This is going to be a costume you see a lot.
John is Deion Sanders, the famous or infamously not 49er.
Be right back.
So John Legend and Chrissy Teigen
were at a Halloween celebration over the weekend.
It's a New York dog parade.
But everyone came in costume, and John Legend,
I got to say, and I guess Chrissy's part of it also,
this is going to be a costume you see a lot.
John is Deion Sanders, the famous,
or infamously not 49er, the guy who was...
I don't get the dog part.
Well, it's just for a dog parade.
The dog's not actually part of their costume.
Oh, I get it.
Right, unless you could have the dog wear a football costume.
John's good there.
But, yes, John's doing some drills about
as well as Deion Sanders did them, to be honest.
So it works.
And I guess Chrissy is maybe his accomplice or alleged accomplice.
That's actually Deion.
That's actually the real fake.
The real fake, not just legend.
Okay, we'll see you tomorrow.
