Cost of Knicks tickets coming under scrutiny

They've been showing up all afternoon to bask in that energy of the championship glow, but most of them are going to end up watching tonight's history-making game from a private watch party or the comfort of their own couch because the ticket prices are upwards of $1,400, and that's just too high. Now look at StubHub, and you can see how pricey this season opener is. Sure, some seats are available, but you're talking four digits even for a nosebleed seat. high three digits is bad enough but these prices are our longtime fans that longtime fans are just not used to seeing the rich people gonna go inside the real New Yorkers gonna be outside because the prices is out of line you're talking about what like two three thousand dollars you know and even maybe more even in those nosebleed seats lowest was about 1400 so fake it till you make It was like 300, went straight to 300 to like 1,500, 1,600. Now, we just come outside and support. You know, we're real fans. We'll come out here and support. The unity that was a hallmark of this championship season is still with so many of these fans, and they're determined not to let the high price of a ticket that is keeping them outside from dampening their spirit of team support. That's the latest from Madison Square Garden. I'm Lisa Evers, Fox 5 News.
