Tonight, I mean, I thought we needed just a little bit of a boost.
And Wu, you know, time and time again, does it for us.
And then obviously you throw in the shot making,
but what he was doing defensively, the energy that he brought,
he could have sat over there and been pissed off
because he didn't play in the first half.
But that's not the makeup of this group.
That's not his character.
So any given night you have your opportunity,
you got to be prepared to take advantage of it.
I guess he was lacking energy.
You know, he wasn't, you know,
playing as hard as we know we can play on the defensive end.
and I feel like they're just too comfortable.
I feel like when we step the tone up,
I feel like everything else will fall in place.
It's the way, just our style of play.
We play our way.
I know everything else will fall in place.
And probably first, beginning of the third quarter,
we wasn't playing Detroit basketball.
I don't like satisfied because we're definitely not satisfied.
I think the comeback just embodied the culture
and what we're trying to build here.
We're a team who is known to be gritty, known to get it out the mud,
known to never quit, and that's our identity.
So even the guys who are new here are embodying that,
and that's why we were able to have the outcome we have.
I mean, we started defending, you know, and then offensively,
we had some guys make some shots, but the movement was there.
We were sharing the ball at a high level,
finding our guys who were hot.
But again, it always starts with our defense.
Like you saw guys diving on the floor, coming up with loose balls.
I was like, you know, when we outwork you,
we're going to be hard to beat.
I think it was great, man.
I think it was great, great energy,
especially how the setup was coming in,
you know, college game day football or whatever, you know,
having the fans all around us and just having the hype.
It felt like a playoff game just with all
the T-shirts and just all the energy.
You know, it was amazing, man.
I love these type of atmosphere.
