course is looking to bounce back after a devastating loss in the playoffs in the second round to the Cleveland Cavaliers with the availability watch of course Prince is questionable and not playing in this game due to personal reasons a couple of guys are going to be assigned to two ways so we'll not be playing and with the Detroit Pistons we finally get to see new faces within this team that were just picked up this offseason debut for the team including John Collins who looks incredible the 45 cuts behind his defenders when teams are mesmerized by Jalen Duren and Cade Cunningham in a PNR this is going to be a huge unlocking point for not only Cade Cunningham having another lob threat but the spacing next to Jalen Duren as well as John Collins was an incredible shooter just last season with of course the Los Angeles Clippers you have new faces joining the team Isaiah Joe is going to be a knockdown shooter Abu Okobo I'm hoping gets some minutes during this game Kevin Herter was brought back within the team Paul Reed gets a bigger opportunity and looking at the minutes down the wing it's going to get interesting on how this is going to open up we know Isaiah Thompson worked on his game this offseason we've seen in the preseason with more primary ball handling and a guy shooting with confidence with this team now with prince out of the lineup it kind of sucks because i was looking forward to see how he joined the team and i'm expecting ron holland just to fill in for the minutes that we would have got with Prince last year limited games played when it came to the pack the paint and make it hard for Cade to kind of work get to the rim score and pass the ball now with the spacing added it's going to be interesting on how this team works and how this team can do it when a Cade comes off the floor does Asar step in and immediately take over as the primary ball handler when we see Cade go off is Jenkins going to step in with that second tier of his game that we haven't seen yet the last season was an incredible breakout but looking at this Piston team with and without Cade Cunningham on the floor the net rating with him on the floor of course is 10.9 which is an 8.4 difference with him off the floor offensive ratings plus 7.6 with him on the floor defensive rating of course drops a tiny bit but star players coming off the floor is probably matchup depending and guys like Shea aren't on the floor when Cade's not so of course the defense and scoring is going to drop a little bit when it goes to that end but the big thing is it's not only Cade but I want to see how the shooting looks and how Duncan Robinson can cement himself I've seen a lot of talk of people speaking on maybe you're looking at Duncan Robinson coming off the bench for Isaiah Joe or even Ausar Thompson, I've seen those comments but looking at of course Duncan Robinson and coming in versus Boston I'm looking at another big game where of course last season he struggled a tiny bit and I shouldn't say struggled still 15 points versus them on the 19th this is a guy that's going to continue knocking down his shots and someone that complements Cade very well looking at the games versus Boston 15-3-2 and of course 5-11 he's going to hoist which is exactly why he's such a crucial part for this team but again I'm gonna fly through some updates on this team because of course there's a lot to look at the Boston Celtics of course going in are a good team they fire threes up like hell coming down this is a team that the Detroit Pistons need to limit the offense when it comes to firing up threes getting their own boards and of course their transition game something the Pistons are going to do very well against but looking at last season and of course this team Duncan Robinson last year averaged 14.8 when it came to his last five games now of course a lot of the end of the games we see guys hoist enough we've seen guys like Kenny Lofton put up I believe it was 50 points one time for the Memphis Grizzlies so I don't like looking at the last five but Duncan Robinson not the same will be a big part heading into the year of course with the Detroit Pistons
