Nigerian authorities are racing
to trace contacts after a diplomat was declared the
country's first Ebola case.
The patient reportedly arrived in Abuja from Uganda
on October 3rd, sparking shock and urgent concern nationwide.

because it's been long since we last had the case of Ebola
And in fact, Ebola came in before coronavirus
and it was so shocking when we got the news yesterday.
I was just going through the news
and I was alarmed at the resurgence of Ebola once again in Nigeria.
Nigeria's first Ebola case is the deadly Bunduki strain linked
to a major DR Congo outbreak.
Residents are demanding urgent government action.
The head council of Nigeria should go out
and create what we call a sensitization campaign in the society,
in every town, in every state, because they're everywhere.
The DRC's deadly Ebola epidemic on record has killed 4,381 people
with over 9,000 confirmed cases.
