Video Summary
AI Generated
Individuals over 50 can generate a lucrative second income by transitioning from \"renting\" their expertise to \"owning\" it through educational content. By using AI as a digital scribe to structure their lifelong wisdom and leveraging YouTube's high demand for learning, creators can build sustainable businesses focusing on niche value rather than massive view counts.
In this video, I'm going to show you
the best Claude AI second income for people over 50,
and you'll start yours inside Claude before the video's over.
And I know this works because I lived it.
I was a full-time pharmacist with a doctorate
and six figures in student loan debt,
and I felt completely stuck.
And I knew that if I just quit, I'd be screwed,
so I built a second income on lunch breaks and weekends instead.
And that second income paid me two to three times my pharmacy salary
while I was still counting pills,
and today it's developed into a $10 million plus business.
And then I started helping other people do it and I noticed that people
that were on the older side or people that had a lot of wisdom
or experience were getting results way faster and way easier.
And so I helped my brother Zach do the same thing in his 50s.
And his very first video did over 800,000 views and 29 days after
uploading it, he had a $214 day, which is a $78,000 a year run rate.
So he went from zero to a full-time income in less than one month.
So this is for you if you're in your 50s or 60s, you've got a job right
now and what you're making just isn't covering what it needs to cover.
It's also for you if you eventually want to leave that job
and take back control of your time.
I'll walk you through what the second income actually is,
which platform to build it on,
and how the money actually reaches you.
I'll also show you why the only way to lose is to quit,
and the part that almost everybody gets wrong,
and along the way, you'll get the exact words
to type into Claude,
so you're never staring at a blank screen.
So if you appreciate me making this type of content
and you wanna see me make more of it in the future,
then let me know by gently cheering that like button,
and let's jump into it right now.
All right, real quick before we get into it,
go ahead and download the second income picker.
It's gonna be the third link in the description
in the pinned comment below.
It's completely free,
and you're gonna be using it throughout the whole video.
So go grab it now, and let's get into it.
All right, so you're probably wondering
what exactly is the number one
Claude AI second income for people over 50,
and that would be teaching other people
the things that you already know.
And I'm gonna explain exactly why,
and you have to do it in a very particular way as well.
So you're gonna be taking the 30, 40, 50 years of things
that you had to figure out the hard way
and handing them to the people who are exactly where you used to be.
And Claude is what turns that from something I know
into something that pays you.
Now, I already know the first thing you're thinking.
Shane, I don't have anything to share.
I'm not an expert in anything.
Wrong, and I can prove it in nine seconds.
Meet a man who goes by Mike.
Mike is 80 years old.
There's no background in any of this,
nothing technical, and no business behind him.
And nine weeks after starting on YouTube,
he was earning by his own admission.
And what is he sharing?
No skills that he went out and acquired, not a certification.
he's sharing what living 80 years already taught him.
For instance, 60 years of marriage in two minutes
or the four things that changed my life.
But you might be thinking,
but Shane, this guy's retired.
He's got all day.
I've got a job and maybe four hours a week.
Okay, fair enough.
Then meet Roscoe, 71 years old.
And he says the hard part out loud on camera,
which I respect the hell out of.
So he has no retirement savings, none at 71.
And he'd never made anything in his life.
He'd only ever been a watcher.
And he put out his first video in his niche
and qualified for monetization in 13 days.
So think of it like this.
In ancient Rome, most people could not write
and it never stopped them from running estates,
doing business, or sending letters across an entire empire.
They simply hired a scribe.
You spoke and the scribe wrote.
So nobody in Rome thought that being unable to write
disqualified you from having something worth saying.
So Claude is the scribe.
You talk and it writes.
The knowing was always the hard part
and you did that part already.
Now, some of you are still sitting there going,
those are retirement guys. I'm a professional.
I spent my whole career inside an institution.
That's not my world. Well,
let me tell you about Jennifer or who I like to call Nurse Jen. She's
60 years old and she spent 33 years in nursing.
And that's about as institutional as a career
gets. Badge, shift, charting,
a whole system telling her what her expertise was worth,
what her time was worth per hour.
And she'll tell you herself, the idea of being on camera
was the part that she just couldn't get past.
And in her words, she said, the thought of looking at
myself on camera, I couldn't even imagine it.
But she didn't go learn anything new.
She took 33 years of knowing how the medical system actually works,
the thing that she'd been explaining to patients and their kids
for three decades, and she started explaining it to everyone else.
And she records on the webcam of a laptop,
and her studio is in the back of a camper van.
And when she first started with us,
she had absolutely zero experience at all.
She had never made a video in her life.
She'd never dipped her toe into YouTube, as she said.
And the first month she got monetized, she had a $6,000 month.
Then the next month, it was an $8,000 month.
Then she had an over $10,500 month.
And she was able to leave nursing.
And now she's traveling all around the United States in her camper van,
which is literally her dream life, right?
So her 33 years of expertise
and institution was renting from her by the hour.
And they were telling her how much she's worth.
But she stopped renting it out and she started owning it.
And so let's kill this once and for all.
You don't need to learn a new software.
You don't need to learn to code.
You don't need to learn some new skill
that's gonna take you thousands of hours to master.
You just need to be able to talk about something
that you already know.
That's the entire requirement
and you already cleared it decades ago.
Now, if you're watching this and you're over 50,
you almost certainly are an expert in something.
However, there's also a lot of people out there
that are under the age of 50, but they're overachievers
and oftentimes they're experts too.
But let's talk about how to get started doing this
with Claude today in a very simple, easy to digest way.
So go to Claude, use the skill that I gave you,
type slash and say, I want to find my second income.
Hit enter and Claude is going to interview you.
It's going to pull every piece of information out of your first,
your career, your health, your hobbies,
the hard things that you figured out.
So what it hands back is tailored to your actual situation.
All right. YouTube just got 10 times easier
and nobody is talking about it.
You used to need an entire film crew and it used
to be a full time job for you to just do any work at all on YouTube.
But now you can get work done in as little as 15 to 30 minutes a day.
You can actually grow a full-time YouTube channel.
That's exactly what I'm going to be talking about
at the live training that we're doing this week.
Exactly how to start YouTube step-by-step for beginners.
So click the link in the description in the
pinned comment below to check that out, guys.
I will be answering questions before,
during, and after the live training.
It's completely free.
Plus, I'll be giving away an AI that is designed to help you pick
your niche if you don't have one in the first place.
or if you already have a niche,
it's gonna help you make it 10 times better.
So really looking forward to talking with you guys.
This is stuff that we never talked about before.
So click that link in the description and comment below.
I look forward to seeing you there.
All right, next let's talk about what platform to use.
Now that we've established
that the number one Cloud AI second income
for people over 50 is teaching other people
what you already know,
the next thing to figure out is what platform to do it on.
And you've got a few different options.
TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn,
a newsletter, a podcast.
they all work. People make money on every single one of them,
but one of them is better than all
of the rest of them combined.
Especially if you're making educational content where you're sharing
your wisdom and you're over the age of 50.
And I'm not just going to tell you that I'm going to
show you the data. So let's start with what's true across
the whole country. So 84% of us adults use
YouTube. That is the most used platform in America.
Instagram's at 50 TikToks at 37. Now
watch what happens when you look at your age group specifically,
because here's what everyone gets
wrong about the trendy platforms.
What's the first thing that you see when you open TikTok
or Instagram? Teenagers dancing, 20 year olds with ring lights.
And that is not a joke. That's
the data. Among Americans, 50 to 64,
only 30% are on TikTok, 40% are on Instagram. At 65 and up,
it collapses to 12 and 19%.
So your people aren't there and they're not coming. Meanwhile, on
YouTube, it's 85% of Americans age 50 to 64,
and 64% of those are 65 and older. So it's the only
major platform with no weak age bracket.
Every generation is on it. And they're not just there
to be entertained. People actually go to YouTube
because they want to learn something. They want
to be taught something. They want to solve their problems,
which makes you, somebody with 30 years
of things to teach, exactly what that platform is starving for.
And before everybody says it, yes,
your friends are on Facebook,
but nobody opens Facebook to learn something. They open it to see
the grandkids and read an argument
that they shouldn't be reading and maybe catch up on
politics. So different platform, different job.
And this is exactly why people over 50 are exploding
on YouTube right now. So look at this,
a 70 year old realtor, a guy on his porch in a camel hat
talking about turning 50, 1 million views, 126 views, 101k views.
They're all absolutely crushing
it. So why does the platform keep handing him 100,000 people?
Well, it's because the demand is
high and the supply is low.
There are millions of people over 50 typing these questions in every
single day and almost nobody their age is answering them.
So think of it like this. In 1934, a
publisher named Alan Lane was stuck at a train station
in England with nothing to read. Not
because he couldn't afford a book,
because there was nothing worth buying. Overpriced hardbacks
and junk magazines. And that was the whole industry.
Publishers made expensive books for
wealthy people. Everybody else, millions of people
who could read perfectly well and wanted something
good, got nothing. So the business had decided
that they weren't a market. And Lane didn't write
a better book. He didn't invent anything.
He just took books that already existed and sold them for
six pence, the price of a pack of cigarettes.
And he sold 3 million copies in the first year
in a country of 38 million people.
The readers had been there the entire time, but nobody had
bothered to hand them anything.
The exact same thing is happening on YouTube right now, and it's
typically with an older audience.
Generally speaking, as they say,
birds of a feather flock together.
So older audiences like to watch other older audiences.
And even younger people, oftentimes,
they're probably kind of tired of hearing
from other younger people,
and they'd like to hear from like an internet uncle
or an internet aunt or grandpa or grandma.
So let's talk about how to do this with Claude.
So go back to Claude and open the same chat
that you used with the second income picker,
then say, based on my answers and everything I told you,
give me five niche hypothesis statement options,
the I help X do Y,
and if you need more information,
ask me more questions and this is the sentence
that tells your audience who you want to help
and what you can help them with it'll hand you five
to pick from things like i help people in
their 50s who are still working to build
a second income from what they already know or i help
nurses leaving bedside care figure out what to do next
or i help people with tinnitus get through
the day and this is just the simple version
of the tool that i'm giving away at the life training
this week and with youtube you can start
with nothing you don't need to be charismatic you
don't need experience recording videos you don't need any
of that i mean just look at my brother
Right? Zach was in his 50s. He's not tech savvy.
He's never recorded a single video in his life
outside of vacation footage and videos of his dog.
And of course, just recording with his phone.
And he was a complete beginner all the way, but it didn't matter.
His very first video blew up
and got 823,000 views. 29 days after uploading it,
he was monetized and hit a $214 day. And you know
why he even started? He's been in the trades for almost 30 years
and it was taking a toll on his
body. And that is just what that work does to you eventually.
So we're on vacation and he pulls me
aside and he goes, yo bro, how can I make money
without breaking my body? And I told him, just
start on YouTube. And he gave me every excuse in the book.
YouTube's for kids dancing with ring
lights and doing pranks and blah, blah, blah.
And I've never recorded a video in my life. I don't
even know how to set up a camera.
And I told him, bro, just trust me, just start. And he did. And
to end his first year on YouTube, he had an $18,000 month.
But you might be thinking, but I'm
really busy. I'm a professional.
Well, just look at Dr. Danny Fisher. We have a lot of doctors in
our program and she's an anesthesiologist.
She's over 50 and she's still practicing today. And she
never left medicine. And of course, as a doctor, she's quite busy.
And she wasn't new to this.
She'd been uploading for years. She'd already put
in more reps than almost anybody watching
this right now. And what nobody had ever told
her was where the leverage actually was. So we
dialed in her niche. We got her on video ideas
that pulled the right views and we packaged them
properly. So same doctor, same expertise, same schedule.
And look at this video, 1 million views
in three days. So she didn't quit her job to do this.
She's still in the OR. Okay, but I need a
huge following. I'll never get there. No, you don't.
And you don't need to get there. A lot of
the people in our community are absolutely crushing it
with a small following because
it's not about how many views you get.
It's about how much impact you make, right? A general
practitioner might see a hundred or 200 patients a day
and they help each one a tiny little bit.
So the brain surgeon is arguably making
a bigger impact than the general practitioner. And that's
why they make way more money. And it's
the same exact thing with YouTube. So let me give you an
example. Let me tell you about Guy. Guy's disabled.
He has tinnitus, which is constant ringing in the
ears all day, every day. A lot of veterans have it.
My dad has it as well. And it is genuinely
debilitating. And he was close to retirement.
And his goal was simple. He wanted an extra $1,000 to
$2,000 a month. And that was it.
That was his version of rich. Not a private jet, just dinners
out, seeing his family more, maybe taking a vacation here
and there. So he built a channel
about the thing that was making his own life hard, which is tinnitus.
And he hit his goal of making
$1,000 to $2,000 extra a month and his first 500 subscribers,
446 to be exact. And now he has far
more subscribers and he's making a lot more money than that.
But the whole point is he got to his
goal before he even hit 500 subscribers, nevermind 1,000.
So he had a tiny audience. So if you think
you can't make money on YouTube with a small channel,
you absolutely can. And here's the part
that I actually love about Guy's story
because it happens constantly in our program. Life handed him
something hard, right? Life handed him lemons
and he turned it into a thing that pays him, right?
He turned it into lemonade. So if you got problems
in your life, you can help other people through
what you've learned solving them.
And that's not a consolation prize. That is the whole business.
Again, what did you notice about all these people?
They're teaching stuff that they already knew.
They didn't really have to learn
that many new skills or anything like that.
They're just talking about stuff that they're already an expert on.
So Tinnitus wasn't in the way of his second income.
It was his second income.
Now that we've established that the number
one cloud AI second income for people over
50 is teaching what you already know
and that YouTube is where you do it.
The next thing to figure out is how the money actually gets to you.
And there are three main ways, especially for beginners.
Let's start with the most basic one, and that is ads.
So this is where an ad pops up on your screen.
YouTube gets paid by the advertiser to show their product.
and you get a cut of that payment.
And one example of someone doing well with that is Azul.
He's in his 60s and he talks about retirement.
Not investing hacks, not anything complicated,
just the questions that everybody his age
is actually sitting up at night worrying about,
like when should I take social security?
Do I have enough?
Can I afford to stop working?
What happens to my health insurance
before Medicare kicks in, et cetera, et cetera.
And he's just a guy at a desk or actually wherever he is
because he just records everything with his iPhone
and he walks around and there's no edits in his videos
and he's just talking to his iPhone,
answering the same thing that he's been answering
his whole career. So it's simple content about things
that he already knows. Now, according to
vidIQ, he's making about $13,500 a month,
but I can tell you he is making significantly more than
that, right? He's making at least six figures
a month from this channel. And that's one thing I
want you to know is a lot of these tools will
actually underestimate how much educational
channels are making because they assume
that educational channels make the same amount of
money as entertainment channels
when that is simply not the case. They make far more money,
oftentimes 10 times more now
the second way you can make money especially as a beginner
is sponsorships and affiliate products
so a company basically pays you to talk about their
product or they give you a link
and every time somebody buys through it you get a cut and you
don't need a big channel for this you just need
a specific one one that talks about those types
of products and services now judd in my community does
this better than almost anybody i know he
reviews products that's the format he puts out
a video people trust his take and they buy through
his link. Then he layers emails on top of it
so that people who find him on YouTube keep hearing
from him long after the video is over.
And he's making over 20K per month. He even got featured
on Business Insider for being able to do this.
Now, the third thing is selling your own product
or service. Now, there's a lot of different products
or services that you could sell.
You could sell a low ticket digital offer.
You could sell a group membership on something like
school where people pay you maybe $50 a month to get access to content
and live streams. You could
sell kind of a mid ticket course somewhere around $500 to $1,000.
You could sell a coaching program
for anywhere from $3,000 plus all the way up to $10,000
or even $20,000. You can also sell a
done-for-you service. This can range anywhere
from $1,000 all the way up to hundreds of thousands of
dollars. And you can sell a sort of agency offer,
which is kind of like a done-for-you service that
is recurring, right? So it's a done-for-you service
that you do every single month. So there's a lot
of different ways to sell your own products and services,
but I'm going to recommend selling a
high-ticket offer. This is a product
or service that is priced at $1,000 or more, and it's
something that gives deep personalized value
and solves a major problem for somebody. So coaching,
consulting, a done for you service, et cetera, et cetera.
So instead of selling many cheap items
to lots of people, a business selling high ticket
offers sells fewer items at a much higher price.
And because of the fact that you're charging
a much higher price, you're able to give a
significantly better service.
Now, this is one of my favorite examples. This is Carla Singson.
She owns a recruiting company that helps online
business owners hire top tier talent in the
Philippines and Latin America,
and she makes YouTube content about it. And these are videos
for CEOs who want to build their teams,
a very affluent demographic, people with real money to
spend. Now, here's the thing.
Her channel only has about 1,000 subscribers right now, barely getting
any views. And most people would look at that and say
that it's not working. But she just landed a
$106,000 a year contract from YouTube from a video
that only got 100 to 200 views. Someone watched
her videos, reached out, paid her.
And this was, of course, a CEO of a company that wanted to hire
people for certain positions
and they spend a lot of money on that. And that's what happens when
you're talking to the right audience, right?
You don't need millions of views. You need the right
people watching, people who have money and need what you offer.
Because remember, it's not about
how many views you get. It's about how much impact you make.
So think of it like this. Picture three
men fishing in the same river. The first one casts a wide net.
He doesn't pick what swims in. He just
takes whatever the current brings.
Some days it's full, some days it's thin, but it fills every
single day and he never has to talk to a soul.
The second one baits a hook for one specific fish.
He knows exactly what lives in that stretch of water
and he brings the one thing that it can't
resist. Fewer catches, but much bigger ones.
And the third man doesn't fish at all. He stands on
the bank and waits for the one boat that needs
a guide through the rocks. He goes out once and
that single trip pays him more than the other two made all season.
So same river, same water,
three completely different ways to eat.
Ads are the net, affiliates are the hook, and high ticket
it is the guide. And here's the part
that most people get wrong. You don't just pick one. You
can start with a net because it works while you sleep.
You can add the hook once people trust you.
And the day that someone asks, can you just do this for me?
Well, that's the boat. So let's talk
about how to do this with Claude.
Go back to that same chat that you had earlier and ask Claude,
based on my experience, what's the best way for me
to make money on YouTube and which one fits
my personality? If you need more information,
ask me questions so you get the full context.
And this time it won't give you a generic list.
It'll give you options based on what you've
actually done. Because ads, affiliate,
and high ticket aren't just three income streams,
they're three different personalities.
Some people never want to talk to a buyer,
and some people would rather have one
conversation than a thousand clicks.
So let it tell you which one you are.
Now, the next thing I want you to understand,
and this is chapter four, is with YouTube,
you will always win, even if you do everything wrong.
It's inevitable. It's just going to take some time.
But the only time you actually lose is if
you quit. That's it. If you stop posting, that's when you lose.
But if you keep posting, it is just
a matter of time before you went.
So take this guy, for instance, M&J Metal. He's one of my heroes,
by the way. And what I love about his story
is that he never gave up on YouTube, even though
he was making every mistake in the book.
He just kept posting. So, for instance, he had these random
videos where he's playing video games
and videos where he's hiking videos, where he's metal
detecting videos, where he's making random drinks,
et cetera, et cetera. Look, look up his videos.
And right. So his channel was all over the place.
His videos were also very, very badly made with
extremely low quality camera equipment.
His thumbnails were bad. His titles were bad. His
intros were bad. Everything about his videos were bad,
but he just kept going video after video,
metal detecting, random stuff, drinks just kept going.
And after his 400th video, which was a
video about him making pickle Pepsi at home for free,
his channel absolutely blew up from 2000
subscribers to 529,000 subscribers.
He made over $55,000 according to view stats from this one
video. And there were many months where he
was doing 30,000 plus dollars a month from this
channel. So think of it like this.
You go to the gym for the first time, you lift, you sweat,
you go home. Next morning, you look in the mirror, nothing.
You go back again, again, two weeks in,
still nothing. A month in, still nothing.
And that's exactly when most people quit because
the mirror is lying to them.
Because the whole time something was happening. The muscle was
rebuilding, the tendons were thickening,
and your body was reorganizing itself around the work.
You just couldn't see any of it yet.
Then one day, somebody says, have you been working out?
And it feels like it happened overnight, but it didn't.
It happened every single day
that you showed up and you got nothing back.
Or at least you thought that you had got nothing back.
And YouTube is exactly the same.
Those 399 videos weren't failure.
That was the reps.
And nobody quits the gym at month three and says the gym doesn't work.
They say that they quit.
But it doesn't have to take that long for you.
It doesn't have to take over 400 videos.
See, he was doing everything wrong.
If you do everything right, you should be able to have
a video that takes off about 10 or 20 times faster than that.
And that's why people in my community are getting results so fast
because I built a system for exactly three kinds of people.
The complete beginner who's never made a video,
the person who's tried YouTube already and quit,
and the one who has subscribers but still isn't making a dime.
And this is just a peek inside of our private community.
Lots of wins coming in all the time.
All right, now let's talk about the part that everybody gets wrong.
So you know what to teach, you know where, you know how to get paid,
and you know that you just have to keep going.
And there's one more thing, and it's
the thing that almost nobody tells you.
Most people put all their effort into the wrong part of the video.
They spend hours on the content, the research,
the editing, getting every fact right.
Then they slap on a title in 30 seconds
and they grab whatever frame looks okay for the thumbnail.
And the most important thing is finding the right idea
and then packaging that idea
so that people know what the video is about from the thumbnail alone.
And nobody ever gets to your content if they don't click.
So let me show you two people in my community who figured that out.
The first one is Martha Garzon.
own. This is a former professional tennis player,
a certified coach, decades of it. And she'd been
posting on YouTube on and off for almost 10 years.
And she never really got any real traction. And
in her own words, she said that it was going slow and painful.
And that's when she decided that she
wanted to stop spinning her wheels,
join our community and make this happen, right? Because
she wasn't missing the expertise.
She had more than almost anyone in her niche. What she was
missing was the process. She was reinventing
the wheel every single video. And so we worked on the
ideas, the titles, the thumbnails
and publishing consistently instead of whenever. And look at
what that looks like now. You know exactly what
this video is about before you even read the
title. And it got 94,000 views,
which was way more than she was ever getting before. And she nearly
10x her subscriber count and monetized her channel within
the first three months. And then the part
that actually matters, she got paid brand deals,
high ticket buyers reaching out through her
content and buyers flying out to work with her one
on one all through her YouTube channel. So as
long as you have the right idea
and that idea is expressed in your thumbnail, as well as your title
and your intro, then it can work. So think of it like this.
For 200 years, newspapers were sold
folded in half, stacked in a rack,
which meant you could only see the top half, aka above the fold.
So that's where they put everything.
The biggest story, the biggest headline, the one photo, because
that half page was the entire sales pitch.
Everything below the fold could be the best
reporting in the country, but it did not matter.
Nobody saw it until they'd already paid, and
editors knew exactly what they were doing.
So the story that ran above the fold wasn't always the
most important one. It was the one that made you stop walking.
So your thumbnail and title are
above the fold. Your video is everything below it.
And you can have the best information anybody's
ever put out on the internet.
But if it's below the fold, nobody's buying the paper. So how do
you do this with cloud? Well,
you go back to that same chat and you type this. Based on my niche
hypothesis statement, find me videos with 100k views
or more from channels with 100k subscribers
or less at a five to one views to subscriber ratio
and make sure the thumbnail or the video
is preferably bad or mediocre. Now here's the logic.
If a bad video blew up on a small channel,
the idea carried it. Not the subscribers,
not the production, not the editing. The idea did all the
work, which means that you can make that same video better
and it'll work for you too. Okay,
so I just showed you what the number one cloud AI second income
for people over 50 actually is,
what to teach, where to do it, how the money reaches you,
why you only lose if you quit,
and the part that everybody gets wrong.
Get those down and your chances
of building that second income go way, way up.
Now, I know 99% of you are going to take this information
and run with it.
We'll never work together one-on-one
and that is completely fine.
I always like to give way more value than I receive.
And that's why I'm giving away
the Niche Validator tool for free this week.
