GWB shooting victim's family breaks down in tears at ex-cop's arraignment

My name is Gayle Corwin. I am Corwin. I am upset, I'm hurt, and I'm not pleased with this court system, but in God we will trust. Corwin was on his way home from work. He had overtime. You had a retired missionary, retired politician, and instead of it being murder, it's called manslaughter. But again, in God we will trust. My nephew Karun, he was a devoted husband. He was a proud and present father in his home with his children. He was a dedicated worker on his job. He would work seven days if the job called him to work if they had something important to be completed. He would be there. On Tuesday of this week, a void was placed in our lives that will never be the same to replace. We are asking the people of New York to stand with us so Corwin's life can be recognized and justice served and not covered up. Because would someone regular without having a job as a police officer get the same treatment and a bail offer when you intentionally kill someone and fled the scene isn't that isn't that leaving a crime? Yesterday he was offered a bail when we asked for remand. This is very unfair and again, in God we will trust. Thank you very much.
