All right, by now you've probably heard that our weather around here
is going to be spectacular, okay, today for the weekend.
But will the weather for Halloween be spooktacular? You got to say it.
As a weather person, I'm required to say that at least once.
Let's talk about it, okay? We're going to check out
this computer model forecast of moisture levels in the atmosphere.
So here's where there's the most available moisture,
the least available moisture. And when we put this ahead in time,
here's Sunday, everything looks great. Heading into
the next week, start to see a little more green.
That indicates probably some cloud cover is going
to start to build back in.
And then here comes a plume, unfortunately, just in time for around
Halloween, which of course falls on a Saturday this year,
a week from tomorrow. So this is the
Friday outlook and you'll see these bright greens showing up,
which indicates most likely a cloudy
sky and scattered storms, which may linger through much
of the day on Saturday. Just don't know yet
if it is going to maybe start to move out just
in time for trick-or-treating.
You know, fingers crossed on that one.
But for right now, yes, count on seeing an increase in moisture levels
and increase in chances for rain coming up for Halloween
and the Friday before as well.
A great weekend ahead, though, for us, really.
Today around 87, tomorrow also around 87 degrees.
Sunday is looking nice and dry as well.
Might have a few more clouds,
but the humidity levels look nice and low.
So everything is looking terrific heading into the weekend.
just like today everything looks nice
as well that latest temperature is 63 very
light winds very dry air is in place as well
but that sunshine is beaming on in
so what happens is on a day like today
you have very dry air and dry air tends
to vary so it'll get like cool in the morning
and then heat up quickly and it
also has to do with the fact
that we have light winds and no cloud cover so
that allows for maximum heating it during
the day and maximum cooling at night
which is why we get these big temperature swings going from lows,
you know, in the low 50s this
morning back into the upper 80s this afternoon.
That'll continue as we head into the weekend.
Now, next week, as I pointed out on that map that showed the greens,
we start to have increasing
clouds building in. We'll start to bring
in a better chance for showers for the mid to late
part of this upcoming week,
and then a better chance for rain coming up for Friday and possibly
Halloween as well.
