‘American Frontier Strategies’ Founder and Attorney Mehek Cooke says “getting illegals out” of schools and welfare systems in the US is the top priority of US President Donald Trump because it protects legal American taxpayers.

The discussion focuses on the failures of the Biden administration and the successes of Trump's policies regarding border security, national safety, and economic affordability.
Look, we have midterms right around the corner,
if my math is correct. We're like
11 days away, I think. For you, do you have a message to the GOP?
I think a lot of people
are complaining about the narrative, about the messaging.
People are pretending that there's a
reason that the Republican Party might not be as popular
or Donald Trump might not be as popular
as he was in 2024, despite the fact that Democrats haven't put forward,
I think, any policy proposals
to prove that they've learned their lesson,
like you said, from not just that election, but from
the four years of failed Biden leadership.
I understand people aren't thrilled with a lot
of things. They want things to be better.
The president also wants things to be better. But
I can't think of one reason why Democrats could make life better
for us than Republicans. Do you
think the president has enough people out there kind
of making sure that the message is heard?
Do you have a message for voters going
into midterms? What would you tell people
about the last 18 months
and what two more years of Donald Trump will look like if
Republicans remain in control of both houses.
Well, I think President Trump is doing a bang-up
job going across the entire country,
continuing my home state of Ohio several times to continue
to ask for voters to show up on election day.
And for me, Elizabeth, when we talk about our country
and the direction of our country,
President Trump has delivered on one of the biggest promises,
which was safety and security.
Just DHS has reported that we have over a million individuals
that they have not only deported, but the crossings are down.
And that's significant.
We have had zero releases from the border.
You remember Joe Biden's America. It was millions
that were coming in. It was catch and release, which was failing.
President Trump has made sure
that anybody that comes to our border illegally
is going to be returned. I can't tell you how
many individuals I talked to, including myself.
I know somebody who has died at the hands of either
an illegal immigrant or fentanyl.
It just continues to happen. You see story after story,
whether you're in Midwest like Ohio or across the country,
and that should never happen.
But that's what President Trump did.
He made sure we were safer and more secure.
So when we talk about affordability,
which is a massive issue, to be able to afford your
prescription drugs, which President Trump has driven down prices.
I mean, he has a massive plan
for Americans and pharmaceuticals
and the negotiations he's done to even IVF treatment
for women, he has continued to think about affordability.
But the number one thing is
getting illegals out of our country,
getting them out of our schools, out of our welfare systems,
and then the fraud. I mean, think about this.
Every dollar that has gone to fraud is $1 less,
not only to reduce our deficit, but $1 less for a family that needs,
whether it's a kid with autism,
people that are impoverished in poverty,
below poverty levels, individuals that really need
that money like our disabled or elderly.
So all of this cuts into closing down our border,
securing our systems, fighting fraud.
That's the affordability message that I continue to talk
about because that is something
that President Trump has not been given enough credit.
Washington continues to take our money and continues to spend it.
And we finally have a man
that's saying, absolutely not. As a businessman, this is our money.
We need to make sure taxpayers
are first protected before government starts spending.
So I think there's a lot to do in the
party in terms of continuing the affordability conversation,
but everybody knows it, the Iran
war. Once that war ends, and it will under President Trump,
he's the only one who actually
had the backbone to fight this war.
We will have affordability back in our country in terms of gas
prices, but it's much lower than Joe Biden's America.
And I don't know about you, I never
want to go back. I certainly never, ever want to go back.
And I actually really enjoyed fighting
to make sure that we didn't have to have four more years
of Joe Biden or Kamala Harris with
you on the campaign trail. Thank you so much for joining me.
I hope you'll come back very, very soon.
