We begin with breaking news out of Atlanta tonight.
Thanks so much for joining us on
Fox 5 News at 10 on Fox Local. I'm Christine Spiro.
The FBI has arrested a man accused of
throwing a suspected Molotov cocktail-style device
at Atlanta's ICE office Tuesday. U.S.
Attorney Theodore Hertzberg says agents arrested
31-year-old Einique Hinton just after 6 this
evening. Hertzberg says agents found Hinton at a home
on Panda Lane in Cobb County. Investigators
say they have surveillance footage of Hinton walking
by the building. They also recovered
burned cloth, lighter fluid, a glass bottle,
and a lighter at the scene. Hinton is now in
federal custody. The Douglasville man faces federal charges of arson
and damaging government
property. We will not tolerate attacks on government property
and attacks against federal
law enforcement.
We take that absolutely seriously and we have no tolerance for it.
And the actions of the agents
and the police officers this week demonstrate that we are going
to go after this and we are going to move very quickly.
We are going to respond rapidly
and we are going to hold people accountable.
Hinton was taken into custody without incident.
Also breaking tonight.
