Car plows into Orlando restaurant

Orlando starts now with breaking news and update to that wild footage showing an SUV right there plowing into a business in Orlando. That's Modern, an upscale bar and grill on East Colonial Drive. And we just spoke with the owner, Michael Wynn. Take a listen. First reactions. Obviously, you know, my heart sank. I'm currently in Japan right now with my fiance. And we had we had just finished up this like really nice hike and we're like taking the bus back to the Airbnb and i get like a call from city or orlando and i'm like ah this this has to be wrong this is it's like 4 a.m you know there's no reason and then so i just let it ring then they called back a second time and i'm like oh crap and i uh i pick up and then you know that's when i i found out that somebody had uh hit Modern and then we found the extent of the damages yeah not the best news for them wow i want to get back to this video because it is just absolutely wild to see the driver of that black SUV barreling through the patio, taking out the safety barricades, sending those tables and chairs flying. This, again, around 4 a.m. this morning. No word on the driver's condition, but we did actually see him get out of the driver's side door there. We reached out to Orlando police. We'll keep you updated as soon as we get more information.
