We are going to be enjoying some pretty fall-like weather
that's going to need the jackets and coats for the next several days.
On top of it, we're not going to be seeing too much
in terms of any real big changes over the coming days.
So what we need to know is that for today into tomorrow
and for pretty much all of next week,
unfortunately and fortunately, the weather is quite boring.
We are looking at the driest conditions heading
into the next several days, even into Halloween.
We're actually going to be trending not only sunny but mild,
and we have one day that might be a bit breezy,
but otherwise you won't need the umbrellas
and you'll just need the coats for the morning but
the afternoon you can kind of even shed it
but heading into our fall foliage so at least we have
great weather to do any kind
of outdoor activities especially fall activities well heading into the
northern areas across much of lower hudson valley
and even for western connecticut we have some good
fall foliage that's starting to take place
for us close to peak especially if you go out to the
catskills that's where we are starting
to see some peak coloring as of right now but across the board
very high coloring and then for later into today past
the morning hours we'll see those temperatures
jumping into the mid-60s
but however it is going to be on the quieter side especially from the
winds nice calm winds going to be sticking around
for us as temperatures look to peak around the
mid-60s for today plenty of sunshine
but we're not going to see too many real big issues again
not only from today but heading into tonight
so the reason why we're starting to see a lot of this
just very fair weather and also calm weather
is high pressure is just really dominating much of
our atmosphere and especially for the region.
Now because of this high pressure it is just going to
be leading into a lot of clear skies
and on top of it pretty warm temperatures as well since we're
still getting a bit of a southwesterly flow
that becomes a bit more westerly as we head towards
Monday. But with this we'll all have
our colder mornings until we get to about midweek but just
be prepared as we get from Monday night
into Tuesday we do have a weaker cold front that'll
be sweeping its way in bringing temperatures down once more
but again it's staying pretty quiet
and temperatures are going to be
just around the upper 50s.
Now we don't have any rain in the forecast
for the next several days.
And yes, that means even for Halloween
as of right now looks gorgeous for us.
Not only just sunny, but completely dry.
