Gotham stay atop the NWSL table, beat Orlando 2-1

Play on words, and they're not wrong. Marta's been fantastic since having to step up in the absence of Barbara Banda. One of the players that Orlando are hoping to take out of the game. The cross, headed back across by Parche! Right in the time and space to pick up her head. Sam Kerr does a really good job at occupying Raffaele and Mace at that far post, which allows Purse, this header, but this is just pure class, to not go for power, but go for location. it just right into the hands of Gotham because there's just too much quality on that back line that they can read the flight and just drop quicker Marta sneaking in Marta oh she doesn't get the shot but all the effort leading up right from the near side goes long headed back into play pieces on the road are just so important great ball to that back post Jalen Hall just has so much time and space and it's almost safe with the giveaway Washington Washington Yates turns on the Jets Ovalle able to get off the cross and the header at the back post goes out of bounds Soleil Washington came flying in
