Marzena Machaj Painter Poland 1981

Marzena Machaj was born in 1981 in Choszczno (Poland). She lives and works in Szczecin. She graduated from the Faculty of Horticulture and Landscape Architecture at the University of Life Sciences in Poznań (2010).
The main theme in her work is the human being, most often depicted as an individual. It is a search for colours, emotions, moods, as well as the place of man in the modern world and beyond. The depiction of the figure in a simple form, as a symbol, is intended to be the foundation and driving force of the image's content. The symbol of femininity in her interpretation refers to subtlety, charm, magic, and harmony between the physical and spiritual spheres.
She has participated in many exhibitions in Poland, including ‘Perception of the Circle’ in Gdańsk, Kołobrzeg, Koszalin, Szczecinek, Czeladź, in the exhibition "Woman. Contemporary Artists in Memory of Anna Bilińska‘ at the Jacek Malczewski Museum in Radom, ’Duality of Vision" in Gdańsk, Czeladź, as well as abroad: Art Capital at the Grand Palais Éphémère in Paris.
Her paintings can be found in many private collections both in Poland and abroad.
