Brooklyn's Home for the Holidays gets spooky

This is heaven for people who love Halloween. Meet my new friend over here. We are at Brooklyn's home for the holidays, and I want to show you my other friend as well. This is the mastermind behind all of it, Austin Ferrazano. Austin, how much work goes into all of this? This is a year-long process to get ready. I start planning, building as of spring, summertime, and then we get going with installation a little bit closer to mid-September, And by the beginning of October, we have the whole display ready to go for you. I know you worked really hard on this right here. I want to show you. What are we looking at? This is a candy corn confectioner. You get to see the process of candy corns getting ready for Halloween. All custom built, made, constructed by myself. A really cool piece, fun for the kids and the families. It's a lot to be proud of. And I'm sure the community appreciates it. Not only on Halloween, but you do Christmas, Kwanzaa, Valentine's Day. I mean, it's all of the holidays. what makes you so passionate about this? The memories I had when I was a child going around see all the holiday displays it just brings such a warm feeling to my heart and I'm glad I can spread the joy of all the holidays not just Halloween to the community of Brooklyn New York City. I mean it's awesome just looking back at all of it tell everybody how they can get involved in this I know it's free for everybody but you got a donations box right there how do you keep this going and what should people know about how long it stays open? We are going to be lit through Halloween night. We give out candy. We have a fun old-fashioned time here. And then right after that, we start tearing down, going right into Thanksgiving Christmas displays. As I stated, this is a 12-year commitment that we've been doing it for so long. We plan to keep on going from years to come for holidays. And everyone's welcome to come by and enjoy the season with us. I mean, it is truly spectacular.
