Tides fall short in advancing to NSL post season after draw with AFC Toronto

Jordan forced to retreat, and that is going to be given away to Nikki Small. Small releases it to Hunter, chests it down, that's a finish! Captain to the sniper, and it's 1-0 AFC Toronto. Who else but Kaylee Hunter. There's a reason we've been talking about her all game long, Cigna. There's a reason we've been talking about her all season long. She is that girl, she makes things happen when she gets into the final third. She's not somebody you can give even an inch to. And that's what happens here. But this starts off with slow decision-making and good AFC Toronto pressure. Solano getting this ball back, able to get it to small and small with a beautifully delivered ball into Kaylee Hunter who brings it down and smacks it home. It's a great goal, and it's just showcasing the quality that AFC Toronto has. Miller trying to work in the tight spaces. Gets the shot off. Oh, my goodness. What a strike. Oh, my God. It looked like it was out of nothing, But Sarah LaMiller, captain of the Halifax Tides, brings them back even right before the half. What a beauty. And that's what they need, Cigna, because it has not been a half that has been in their favor at all. But Sarah LaMiller to the rescue equalizes with a beauty. What a strike. And she doesn't have much room to do it with, but she takes her chances here, drives inside. There's three players on her, and she tries it.
