Trump's about to be a lame duck.
So my thinking is, if you guys take a big W in a week
and take over the Senate and the House.
Actually, if the American people take the big W in a week,
that's actually what we need.
This needs to be about, like, you know,
whose side are the people in Congress actually on?
And it's in everybody's best interest if they're
on the side of the American people and not the elites
and the big companies and the, you know,
on the folks like Trump and his friends.
Well, speaking of him, what do you think
that's going to do to his mental state?
Well, he has demonstrated over the years that he will,
when stressed, he will do some,
take some pretty extreme measures.
I mean, this is the guy who,
when he didn't win the election in 2020,
and he wasn't happy about it and couldn't accept it,
he sent a mob to attack Congress.
So, yeah, I mean, lame duck Donald Trump second time around.
Yeah, I think we've got to be concerned, but at the same time,
we can't allow that to change what we do
and how we conduct ourselves in the United States Senate.
Let's get into that.
It can't be a thing.
Well, you say that, but I don't know.
Like, I might tread lightly.
You might have missed, he did
this 1,300-word diatribe against Bill Maher the other day.
Yeah, I saw that.
I didn't actually read it.
I just saw it.
But I think it just shows where he's at.
So if you guys start investigating his sons and his family members,
We are a country of laws.
Accountability in the United States matters. If we're not,
how do we enforce the laws against everybody else?
So for the most egregious stuff that this
president did, there needs to be investigations and accountability.
And he, you know, if he didn't
want that, he shouldn't have taken actions like set up crypto scams
and taking $400 million,
dollar you know private jets
from foreign nations he should have thought about that ahead of time
well so a buddy of mine the other day was saying
to me you know i'm over trump but the thing that
i'm worried about is like what if he just takes the dems w
and tries to flip it into an l and
thinks okay i'm gonna tank the economy now
because uh i'm pissed and i want to show people that the
dems when they're in charge it doesn't go
too well we're gonna stop them we're gonna well we'll stop
them to do it. I mean, we have,
when you have some of the levers of power, if you win elections,
you know, Congress has, you know, some authorities to do things.
We can't let this guy, you know,
scare us. I'm never going to be intimidated by him.
He's come after me personally. You know,
he said I should be hanged and executed.
And for something I said, then he tried to
indict me and throw me in jail.
We can't be intimidated by a guy who thinks he's a bully.
And he sort of is a bully,
marginally successful real estate developer, failed president.
We're a country of laws.
Elections matter.
People are going to show up.
My sense is they're showing up in big numbers, which is good.
The American people get a say in our democracy.
But he still has the nuclear football.
Like, that's what I'm saying.
He might be pissed, and he's not just going to go down quietly.
You're saying that they need to be held accountable.
I don't think people need to worry about that.
Really?
There are issues with this guy,
but they should not be worried about him.
I think people are kind of worried, though.
It's like, just look at Twitter.
He's tweeting in the middle of the night, like, nonstop.
He's always done that.
He's always done that.
Sure, the Bill Maher thing was like an essay against a guy
because I guess he said something Donald Trump didn't like.
That's who Trump is.
We all understand that.
We're going to move on.
You know, we're going to move on after this election.
We're going to deliver for the American people.
We're going to provide some accountability
to them for when people have broken laws and
there should be investigations.
We also don't need to be out of control about it.
We need to focus on the issues that everyday Americans are facing.
They cannot afford their lives anymore.
They're getting kicked off of their health care.
Food benefits are being taken away.
All this stuff because of this president.
And we got to turn it around.
Is impeaching him getting out of control?
been tried twice unsuccessfully i don't think it's
a good idea okay all right thanks
