I thought Mo was terrific.
I mean, his rim protection was great.
I think he had, what, four blocks?
Yeah, four block shots.
But I think even the play late where he goes to contest
and they try to throw a wrap pass
and he gets his hand down and deflects it,
you know, his presence at the rim,
I thought was terrific for us tonight.
And then offensively, drop-offs and lobs.
He was a great screener early in the clock.
I thought he handled himself great.
You know, it's a tough position to be in.
You know, all these guys are pros
and they prepare to play,
but to have a couple of guys go down in the last 24 hours
obviously changed his role, and I thought he was ready for the moment.
It's a combination.
I mean, they're intelligent players, and they understand the situation,
but certainly we were trying to encourage
their aggressiveness to look to shoot,
especially playing against drop.
I thought they did a great job.
I'm sure Darren is frustrated with the amount of shots that he made,
but I thought he took a lot of good ones
and made a lot of great plays for us.
Keontae did a really good job of recognizing
that we wanted Darren to handle a little bit more
with Ty Jerome guarding him to try
to maybe increase a little fatigue on Ty.
But I thought both those guys handled the situation well.
It's not what you want to hear,
that two of your teammates aren't returning to the game
in the middle of the game and you have to shift your mindset.
But, you know, it's the beauty of team sports
is that we have to keep pushing.
And the finer details may change because of the personnel,
but the general concept of competing as a group remains the same.
