Inside,
I've got the fan turned on.
I think I
just lost all
my screws.
That's okay.
This thing is really leaning.
I guess I had not noticed the last time I worked on it.
A tree fell on it, and I had to replace everything here.
I had to replace the top,
the circular fan support, this panel, this, this.
All right, this is, like I said,
I've got that column for the blower to come on.
So let's check this.
it
says
zero
volts
26 so
apparently
sometimes
it'll
work
and
sometimes
it
won't
trying
to
wobble it back
and forth it kind of
sounded funny when
it um started up let's
see if i can reach
around
and
sound
good
might
be under
warranty
so let's
see if
we can
get the
whole
motor
i did not like the way this motor sounded
when it starts up and stops and it's intermittently
not working so i'm going to replace it it was under warranty
so we're getting whole motor
that's
why i did
not even
test
this
shade
tree
right
here
that
shaft
might
give me a
problem
slow
it
down
that's
in
the
attic
that
i
diagnosed
yesterday
if
you
look
on
this
towards
the
shaft
that's CLG MC's for 24 volt common which is gonna
be my brown L and N that's line and neutral
this is 240 volts so it's going to be my two power wires
and G is the ground that connects right here
here these three
and four
of my speed taps
that i'm going
to be using
this 24 volt
coming black
is my first power this is my ground orange is my
other power if this were 120 volts this would be
neutral
speed
taps
there's
the other
power
to it to
see what
happens
now that
sounded
a lot
better
than the other one all right we're good
to go on this one this one
that's the blower motor I
diagnosed yesterday I'm not going to try to change
it up here this is the blower motor we're going to
use on this one it's an aftermarket basically
X13 motor the OEM motor on this was over 500
my cost
this
one's
like 225.
I've slid
down the
shaft
again
heads
on that
were
mighty
tight
did
not
see
an
RPM
on
this
broad
ocean
half
horsepower
208
230
or
1050
RPM
1075
RPM
so
Would
not
want
to
have
to do
that
with
an
evac
core
that's
turned
on
but
power
to it
and
see
if it
comes
on
you
hear
it
i did maybe it's
determining rotation
yeah there's another
name brand i use it'll
ramp up run a couple
seconds in one direction stop and then run the other direction
and somehow by resistance it can
tell
which
direction
to run
let's
see
if it
ramps
up my
batteries
are
there
it
goes
it
picked
up
tell by those pressures hot inside it's
like 84 degrees but they've had to do
without for some time now so I'm sure they'll be happy
