‘It’s crook’: Andrew Clennell unravels Anthony Albanese’s Marrickville Golf Club scandal

News24 Political Editor Andrew Clennell says the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) has done “three quarters of bugger all” since its establishment in 2023.
Mr Clennell told News24 he believes Prime Minister Anthony Albanese’s $6 million grant to Marrickville Golf Club should be referred to the NACC, although he suggested it may not meet the legal threshold for official corruption.
“But what is the NACC for if it’s not going to look at this?
“This one doesn’t stack up," Mr Clennell said.
“Why did Albanese say it was about sewerage?”
