Alaska in October | Northern Lights, Chicken Coop Projects & Autumn Cooking

October in Alaska brings beautiful northern lights, chilly nights, and preparations for the long winter ahead. Join us for another peaceful week of everyday life in our little cabin in Alaska.

In this vlog, we continue insulating our chicken coop to keep our chickens warm during the cold Alaska winter. Between outdoor chores, feeding the birds, and spending time with Molly and Tom, we enjoy the simple comforts of home.

I'm also excited to share two of my Alaska photographs, now printed on canvas and finally hanging in our home. Later, we prepare homemade beet salad with sauerkraut and delicious stuffed pumpkins, bringing a little Halloween spirit into our cozy cabin.
