Look at, wow, look at that.
Right?
Look at that.
That's interesting looking.
Yeah.
It really is.
Yeah, it's beautiful.
And golden sunrise, everyone.
Sun is rising as we speak.
Will be with us officially in about five minutes,
but the shot speaks for itself.
Just majestic, sensational.
All right.
Chilly morning upon us, everyone.
Has to be expected, bundle up
and anticipate a gorgeous afternoon with a lot of sunshine.
Sharing a satellite radar shot you can see fairly quiet for us.
going to see an occasional bit of cloud cover move in,
but for the most part, things are going to stay
pretty mellow until we hit Saturday.
And you can see Saturday morning, Los Angeles,
northern tip of California, we're talking Eureka, rain chances begin.
8 p.m., they are going to be
in full swing. And you can see, as far as path is concerned,
Los Angeles right in the thick of it.
Now, for us, we are pocketed.
That's the word I'm using, or a little pod or a bubble, if you will.
But notice how there's moisture surrounding us,
but we are staying on the, I say this loosely, dry side.
So I'll share another shot with you and give you a better idea.
Also, the snow levels are about 9,000 feet,
so we'll get a mix of rain as well as snow for higher elevations.
Sunday a.m., rain chances still continue for areas south of us.
Yet again, we are still sitting pretty.
Next on the docket, Wednesday, into really later parts of next week,
we're going to welcome in that bad boy right there.
So rain chances will pick back up once we hit mid-parts of next.
week. Coastal flood advisory still in effect.
This has been pushed back. It's due to expire
come 5 p.m. Friday. As far as today is concerned,
we'll see things peak right before one o'clock.
And again, these are record breaking
and just pretty profound what we are witnessing. So stay
safe. Here's what I wanted to share with you.
This is that pocket I'm talking about. You see,
we're going to be on the drier side of things,
all things considered. And what we will see
as far as Halloween evening is concerned is drizzle at best.
So do not cancel your plans.
Cool conditions, though, as you can see, we're checking 50 degrees
by 8 p.m., 40s by 10, with a lot of cloud cover.
Wind, not an issue for us.
As far as your forecasted highs,
temperatures are up by about 3 to 4 degrees from yesterday alone.
Still a few degrees below our seasonal norm.
Continue to tick downwards.
63 we'll see as far as the lowest
is concerned come Saturday and then Sunday.
It's an eventful weekend, as you know.
We're going to see those clocks fall back.
Okay, we've got more for you.
Stick with us.
We'll see you in just a minute.
