Some of the raised beds were past their best. See how we sorted that problem using pallet collars and virtually filled them for free.

Refresh your tired raised garden beds with this simple pallet collar upgrade. It is an easy way to restore your plot.

Some of my vegetable garden beds were definitely looking a bit past their best this season, so I decided it was time for a refresh. By using pallet collars, I have been able to extend the life of these structures and get things ready for the next planting cycle. It is a straightforward project that makes a massive difference to the overall health of the soil and the look of the plot.

The process started with some essential garden soil preparation, getting the ground tilled and ready for new growth. I also focused on filling these beds as cheaply as possible to keep costs down. Seeing the change from worn-out timber to sturdy, productive beds has been really satisfying, and I hope it gives you some inspiration for your own growing space.
