What's poppin'?
We are coming up on 10.30.
That means it's time for a little celebrity dish this morning
with actor, activist, influencer Antoine Pollard.
Hello. I'm back in the building, y'all.
Good to see you, my man.
Listen, October has been busy.
I've been on the go.
I done been to Atlanta, Houston, Miami.
Went to see Chris Brown and Usher.
That concert was amazing.
But I tell you, that was like a big family reunion
because they didn't have any openers.
So before the show, the DJ was just mixing
and everybody was just in there jamming.
Yeah, man, it's been a good time.
Where'd you see him?
Houston.
Okay.
That stadium is huge, man.
It was good.
Overall, it's been outside, you know,
with family, celebrating birthdays.
My best friend John's birthday was yesterday.
My great-grandmother turned 95 October 3rd.
My brother turned 29 October 7th.
So it's a fever for your season.
You know, happy birthday to them.
But, yeah, man, it's good to be back.
I love it.
Been busy and just celebrate life.
You got to.
You got to.
Life is short.
You know, I've learned that over the years.
So anytime I got a chance to celebrate it
and enjoy it, I'm going to do just that.
I love it.
All right, well, let's get into what's popping this morning.
And talk about a burning through a wedding budget.
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's extravagant wedding decor
was reportedly burned, literally, after their ceremony.
According to the Daily Mail,
Swift's team ordered the custom-made decorations be destroyed
to prevent anyone from stealing and reselling them.
A decor reportedly filled 11 semi-trucks.
One expert estimated the wedding cost $30 million,
which is nothing to a billionaire.
But what do you make of this burning your wedding decor?
Remember I was here last time.
We were talking about her in the stadium and how she was going off.
But that's my man, my man, my man.
I think with this, it's the thing of I'm with it
because she said that she didn't want a wedding just handed to her.
She wanted to actually, because she
actually was in the planning process.
So she picked out almost every detail.
And at the end of the day, I don't want nobody,
like she said, I don't want nobody, you know,
taking the stuff and reselling it for their profit.
No.
Let's burn it.
Take it home.
Or if it was me, I know me.
I'm an event planner, too.
That stuff would have went in storage
and I'd have used it like seven months later.
You know, I was in her shoes around this time last year,
and I'm like, whoo.
After you finish adding up everything,
I'm like, I ain't burning nothing.
We ain't wasting that money.
No, we're going to reutilize it at some point.
That's so, because we used a lot of our beautiful flowers
during the ceremony for the reception,
and when that was over, we didn't just toss it.
We gave them away.
So I'm seeing people walk down the block
with my centerpieces and everything,
and I'm like, hey, at least someone's enjoying it.
Now, if I see that podium that was standing over there
by my table on Amazon, no, give me that back.
Give me that back.
I collected all the things.
It cost too much.
Oh, my gosh.
30 million.
Again.
Yeah, some wedding planner's going to be sitting
on the side just waiting for a T&T wedding.
Taylor and Travis.
T&T.
I don't want T&T.
Okay.
Tony and Tamika.
Let's go.
Oh, my gosh.
Come on this morning.
Bring it in.
Head crack.
Head crack.
With a little side dish nation.
What's up?
Good to see you.
Morning, y'all.
Hey, how's it going?
Hey, man.
Everything is everything, man.
Happy middle of the week.
Indeed.
It's hump day.
It's hump day.
let's get over it all right let's um get
into some more topics with you this morning Halle Berry
we've been talking about her now for a couple
of weeks reportedly did not post a shady quote
amid the um uh Olivier Martinez custody battle
are you buying it head crack I mean if she says
she didn't do it I mean how many lies have we caught Halle Berry
in you know I mean not very
many if any right and the quote in question
was if kids disrespect their moms the root causes often
traces back to the relationship with a father,
which seems like it would have been on time
and on point.
But the Internet is forever,
and if it really did come off her actual page, I think the
Instagram detectives would know that she posted it,
you know what I mean, cuz people do a
post and delete real quick all the time.
But the day of the hackers is real, people are really hacking accounts.
A friend of mine just had that happen to him,
and just seeing him try to regain all of his
things back on Instagram or wherever else, it's been a journey.
So I don't know.
the history of lying or not telling the truth,
but I honestly don't know.
And I don't think she would be that messy,
especially, like you say, in this time of where,
you know, what's going on.
I don't think so.
I don't think it was her intentional.
Yeah, when I was looking at this, too,
I'm glad she was able to, you know,
mitigate, I guess, fix the hacker situation,
but why would you want to add even more drama
to an already messy situation
that now has your 13-year-old involved in it
with him, you know, being in the courtroom
and testifying and so forth?
I don't think she would want to make matters worse.
Yeah.
If we look at this.
That kid does deserve to lose everything for posting
that picture of Holly Berry looking like that.
We've never seen her with those angles.
But you know what, Headcrack?
Back in our day, you would just put them over your lap
and give them a one-two, get a pow-pow.
At least that's what my parents would do,
regardless of what side I happen to be on.
But she's the one from the very beginning that, you know,
she tried to keep this, I would say, really hush-hush.
It's the ex that really, you know,
in my opinion, that's gone forward with this.
And so, yeah, to your point, Headcrack,
why would she want to air her dirty laundry?
I just don't see that happening.
Yeah.
This hacker was just messy.
But, yeah, okay.
Kylie says she didn't do it.
All right, well, Alicia Keys and Swiss Beats announced a collab album.
This is going to be the first for them, Headcrack.
Yo, I'm here for it because, like,
Alicia Keys has been making music for the better part of 20-plus years.
And I feel like we've heard all the things on piano.
We've heard all the, you know, ballads or,
you know, a couple upbeat joints here and there.
but you know we haven't got a project
with them both together a couple remixes here and there and
a couple singles but hopefully he could put all
of his creative energy into giving us a version
of Alicia Keys that we haven't got yet
because like the hardest thing to do is maintain your
relevancy over a decade and when you've been doing it
for double decades you know you really got to
dig deep into the creative pit
and try to figure out what you can come up with so you know i'm here
for it can't wait to see what they cook up yeah same here i'm here
for it i think one thing i love
to see is when couples do collab albums
because I think it tells an additional part of
their journey, their love story, depending on
how it's done. But, like, you know,
they both make great music, and like Fairfax said,
I want to be able to see something that has not been
out yet in her artistry.
So I'm for it. I'm going to be blasting it,
you know, cruising down the highway listening to it.
So, yeah, I'm waiting for it.
I'm going to dig a little deeper into this, and I think
that we just discovered who's going
to be performing at the Super Bowl. Yes. Jay-Z.
Yep. A lot of his
records produced by none other than Swiss Beats
and of course he has that collab with Alicia Keys
i can see them coming out
and perhaps unveiling one of their songs on that stage that'll be
amazing that'll be i don't know if jay-z's that selfless
Hey, like, you don't get that new love song.
Actually, I didn't know about it.
Y'all know who you're talking about.
It's Jay-Z's show.
Good point, good point.
It's showtime at the Apollo.
Like, hey, here's two new songs for the whole world to hear.
Like, that's it.
Oh, man.
I know he don't have 99 problems, but he ain't trying to make that one.
That's it.
Not at all.
I understand that.
Little Mama would come on stage and do lip gloss before.
Oh, no, no.
Oh, my God.
She's like, not that generous.
It's interesting though, the album's gonna have some Latin influences
I saw it's gonna be seven tracks
So I think we'll get a different sound from Alicia
Of course, when those two team up
It's gonna be dope
Alright, this was interesting
So Kevin Jonas reveals
How he accidentally sent a nude pic
To his brothers, Nick and Joe
Oh gosh
And Jeff, what do you make of this?
Hey man, listen, if your eyesight's going bad
You need to wear glasses
And make sure you send a message to the right person
because this is easily avoidable.
I don't know how one can make said fumble.
But, you know, you just got to slow down sometimes
and just don't be so eager to share your,
and I say this in air quotes, art with other people.
You know, without making sure you're paying
attention to who you're sending it to.
Yeah.
Now, listen, I've never done this,
but I have accidentally text somebody the wrong, text the wrong person.
I'm trying to think.
I'm thinking I'm in one text message.
You know when you're on your phone, if you're
doing something and a message comes through
and you open it and another one comes through, you just keep typing.
So that's happened.
But I've never sent a nude or anything
of that nature to anybody close to me.
So no.
That part I don't get.
You got to double check.
Even autocorrect tried to burn me one time.
I'm like, what?
Yeah, autocorrect is something.
I think the moral of the story today is just proofread.
Yeah.
Or just double, triple check before you hit that send.
You got me too.
Actually, I told somebody,
I was trying to say you were too far, but autocorrect said
you're so fat and i was like oh no i don't want to do that one
and it's like the worst version
of what could be mistaken for whatever it
is you're trying to say like yeah i'm leaving this
one alone oh you got caught out there before i mean
that's for me and mine
it's really telling sometimes like the words
that we type the most i remember uh like somebody sent
me something it was like something someone that they
was working on somewhere and i was like yo
i said how is she doing
and like it changed it to how is ugly doing oh wow yeah ugly a lot in
your text messages not even really i don't even know how
that happened no i definitely didn't
type that word but you know yeah the computers man
when you rely on they turn on you that part
even the voicemail transcriptions look i can go
on and on and on because i got someone's like i
don't like you and it was definitely
not that when i hit play it was like something completely
different. I'm like, okay,
technology. We can't depend on it for everything,
especially communication.
Alright, Headcrack, good to see you. And I love the set, too.
Thank you so much.
Yes, popping down there, man.
Peace and love, y'all. Good seeing you, too.
Alrighty, take care. Antoine, good to have you, man.
Good to be back as usual.
It's like home here.
You're welcome back anytime.
Y'all heard that. I'm welcome back anytime.
Yes. Alright, guys, so to come
this morning, it is a musical that
