Despite good opportunities, Panthers coach says team "...didn't finish on that last drive."
Oct 30, 2026
All right, first of all, you know, love the fight in the group.
Didn't expect anything less.
The guys kept battling all the way through.
Gave us some opportunities at the end,
making it a one-score game right there.
Tried to go for two, down 14.
Then we decide what's happening on the last one on the road.
We won it on Thursday night,
and that's the way I saw it going in my mind.
We didn't execute, you know.
First of all, a lot of love to the Packers.
A great game plan made us one-dimensional.
Got after us in the rush.
Got after us with the blitzes, things that we've been talking about.
You know for the last couple of weeks
and things that we need to really press in on as a group
Players coaches as well to figure out make sure we have a good plan
For what that looks like and make sure we get positive yardage there
Thank you.
You know certainly the turnovers. I mean right off the bat
the kickoff coverage unit a physical play ball on the ground
Three points right there
We got to turn that into seven
and then the defense getting us the ball back a couple of times
to give us some opportunities in the game like this and
It matters and when you win the turnover battle you know
if we can function the way we know how
making sure we're coming away with points right there
then all of a sudden you flip the thing
and the Packers did a good job of responding to some of the adversity
um and uh again just kind of came down to the end
and didn't finish on that last drive.
