A Look Inside The Fantastic Sleepy Poet Antique Mall In Charlotte, NC

Alright folks, I am at the largest antique mall in Charlotte, North Carolina. The Sleepy Poet Antique Mall. This place is huge. It's been here a long time, but they moved buildings at one point into the old Reynolds factory. I believe it was the Reynolds factory. It looks like Reynolds aluminum foil, so maybe I just called it that. I don't know. Maybe I'm wrong. I come here about once a week. Donnie comes here as well. Recently he came by and filmed a video of him coming through here, which I thought y'all might want to see. There's a Pyrex place that he has found in here. You know he's on a big Pyrex kick. I come here and look for radios, clocks, things like that. Like this clock here is neat. I like it. $125. That's about what they're worth. So that's a good price on it. But I like to buy them cheap and where they need some work. But Donnie, you know, he loves Pyrex. So he comes here and checks it out. There's a booth all the way at the other end of the place. Let me show you down this lane so you can see just how big this place is. And I can show you what... what he checked out last time he was in here yeah so it's that big it's just a huge place so i'll get to the video donnie shot and see what you think leave your comments below see how big this place is i might have some more right in here somewhere since i've got them four pieces we checked this booth over pretty good to make sure we're not missing anything y'all know i need a couple lids or you should know you know in a minute that i need a couple of them lids so gotta keep looking for them but we're walking around looking Basically, I don't want the person that's got 100 different pieces in their booth. If they got one or two pieces, they might have one piece. I'm not trying to buy a whole set. I'm trying to buy pieces. So if you buy one piece, it ain't worth, you know, nothing like what a set's worth. Like that one set down there we saw was $314 or something. You can buy them piece at a time for nothing. You know, like maybe $50, $75. You can buy that same kit or the same set. but you've got to do the walking and looking and they're trying to find these people who've got glassware so they're liable to have something these people have got glassware so they're liable to have something and any if you find one piece it could be the piece you want but you got a chance it could be the pieces that you don't want also so you got to look at everything scanning through it quickly i ain't got a lot of time today to look like look look scan it i can scan and look pretty quick Like that right there is Pyrex, you can tell, so look around and make sure they don't have nothing crazy. Like that's a Pyrex, $12, the white one. Keep looking. What if Ronnie needs an 8-track player? He'll see it in this video, he knows where I'm at, he'll, he can come down here if he needs it. One good thing about it, Ronnie watches all my videos, it's old toys, like you can tell like that booth, and then he ain't gonna have no, no stuff that I'm looking for. Hey, how's it going? This is it, that everybody likes, $110. I'm trying not to film them, so. You see me ducking the camera, that's what I'm doing right there as a beast. It's $23. So that could just as easily have been the snowflake and garland that I'm looking for. But that's not. You see them constantly, but you might not see exactly what you want. I see. But some of these, you can just tell that you're not gonna be able to buy anything in the booth. Like that one there, you know that clock's gotta be expensive. I had it really, 80 bucks. Ronnie's a buyer at like 20. If that was 20, I'd call Ronnie on it. Well, we're at the end of it, y'all. So we'll switch back over to the other one, and I'll show you what I got. Okay, y'all. Y'all wanted to know what I got today. Basically, the difference is the width here. So that's a platter. They also make plates. I got that. I already got the plates. That's what we eat on every night. So I got this one, a platter, and I got this one, kind of a big bowl. We call that a fruit bowl. So I've got those two. Slowly but surely. Getting together the whole set. Y'all, if you like what you see, give us a thumbs up. Subscribe to the channel if you haven't already, and we'll catch you on the next one.
