Pet of the day: Banjo

Now for our pet of the day joining me today is from Atlanta Animal Rescue Ginger and then she's here also with Banjo the most friendliest cat I've met so far. So tell us about Banjo. Banjo is about three and a half months old. He's a brown tabby and he has just some amazing markings on him but he has got to be the friendliest cat. He has never met a stranger He loves to cuddle, he loves to play, and before the lights came on he was very talkative. So I'm sure it's a little bit crazy when they come on. Yeah, he's already playing now, look at that! So talk about what kind of home Banjo would work really well in. Well, Banjo needs a friend. We have heard that he has been around a dog and that it did not go well. Okay. The dog didn't like him. Cat friends. Cat friends. Okay. Now, his roommate at ARF is Kazooie, and she loves him to death. She's about two and a half months old. She's solid black with a little white tuft on her neck. Mmhmm. And... Um, she would be great to go with them, but if you have a younger cat at home, he would be great with them too. Okay. Well, tell me a little bit about some quick tips when it comes to pets and safety with Halloween, right? Yes. Yes. And especially since it's on a weekend night. So Halloween's going to be extended this year for the sheer fact of it's on a Saturday. So people will be out later. It's really wonderful if you find your pets a quiet room, maybe where you can shut the door. Mm-hmm. And... And so that when the doorbell rings, it's not as shocking. When somebody's yelling, trick or treat, it's not as shocking. And it does avoid the door dashers. Oh, that's true. Because the door opening and closing a lot, they can run out, and they'll get very disoriented because there's more people on your street than usual, and there's people dressed up and kids running around, so that's always great. Put your candy and your treats up. You don't want them to eat that. Not all of it is toxic, but some of it is very toxic to them. But ultimately, it will give them upset stomachs, which make your life miserable. Yeah, these are all great tips. So, guys, you see how active and fun he is.
