Liz Y Ahmet Painter Turquey

Liz Y Ahmet is a Turkish born and raised in the UK, who identifies as an expressive portrait artist. Being mainly self-taught, the catalyst for her work was an emotive portrait she drew at age six, after having watched a harrowing film. Her goal is to create compelling portraits using unpredictable mark-making – often described as “beauty in chaos.” Earlier this year, her scribble portrait Medea was selected as a British Art Prize Finalist. Her social media presence has enabled her to collaborate with exciting projects and businesses, such as album covers, merchandise, magazines and product designs, to name a few.
