2026 Week 10: Cedar Ridge vs Westlake

With just two weeks left in the regular season, district titles and playoff berths are on the line. We have action from Round Rock to Bastrop, but we kick things off at Westlake. Fresh off beating rival Lake Travis, the Chaps facing perhaps an even bigger game tonight. Westlake, who only has one loss on the season, a perfect 4-0 in district, hosting a surprising 8-0 Cedar Ridge bunch. Miss Q's turned into points in this one. Following a Westlake interception, greatest QB Dylan Snoga. Finds Jace Allen for the 16-yard touchdown. Cedar Ridge up 7-0. Then Westlake gets on a roll. They block a punt, which sets up this short C.J. Jones TD. That ties it up at 7 apiece. Later on, Jones, who's just a freshman, walks in for another one to give the Shaps a 14-7 lead. After that, Patton Jones finds Nash Chapman in the end zone to put Westlake up 21-7 in the second. A lights-out effort by the Shaps. Yeah, literally. There was a power outage at the stadium, so this one. We'll resume tomorrow at noon with Westlake leading Cedar Ridge 21-7 in the second quarter.
