Los Angeles Comic Con kicks off in DTLA

All right, time to lighten things up here. Comic-Con returns to the L.A. Convention Center today. That's right, Mario. I don't know what he's going to be next. There it is. He's bringing the big blue bug of justice to downtown L.A. Mario, you're the best. You look amazing. This is so great. In every single costume today. Sandra Roxia, fear not. The tick is here. Citizens of Los Angeles. Oh, oh. I might be too big for this box, but everybody loves Funko Pop. We are at the 2026 LA Comic Con and we are ready to go in all of our glory. I wanna bring in Chris de Molen. He is the CEO, the CEO of LA Comic Con. It's nice to see you, Tick. I'm here. To serve justice and bring those bad people down. I appreciate that because we have supervillains and superheroes. So I'll take care of the heroes. You take care of the villains. Very good. We are here right in front of the main stage. Yes, indeed. I can feel the excitement. The workers are starting to get the booths ready. What can we expect here on the main stage? Well, you know, this is where the main stage panels are. One of the things that's different about L.A. Comic-Con. Other cons, you have to leave the convention and go someplace else and wait in line to see it. We put the stage right in the middle of the show floor so you don't have to miss anything. And so there's going to be panels here from the cast of K-pop Demon Hunters and Breaking Bad and Outlander and The Office and Futurama, not to mention the incomparable Nick Cage. So the thing that was important to us for the fans is that... is that those big, great things are right here. Everybody gets to see them. And there's enough room here that we can have 6, 8, 10,000 people participating in the panel. And so that's just all about us kind of putting the fans in the center of the show. If you guys watch Good Day LA, you know that we've met Jonathan Banks, Mike from Breaking Bad. Is he going to be here? He is not, unfortunately. But his compatriots in terms of Aaron Paul and Bob Odenkirk and Giancarlo Esposito and Dean Norris, they're all going to be here. And maybe he'll show up. You never know. Yeah, he was out in Malibu a few weeks ago. He had his power out. We were talking to him firsthand. Talk to me about what else we can see here. I think on this stage you're seeing sort of the big name panels. If you go on Comic-ConLA.com, you can see who that is. But the other thing is there's panel rooms upstairs. And so there's all sorts of fan groups and TV shows and streaming shows. And they all have panels going on throughout the weekend. We have about 140 panels that the fans can enjoy. So it's kind of like the marquee. Talent is either here or on the stage that we saw over in the anime and gaming hall earlier. But there's really content here for people of any fandom. Doors open at 3. What's the day that you would say fans can't miss? You know, it really depends on what you love. If you are an Ahsoka fan, the Ahsoka panel is tomorrow. You'd want to come see Rosario Dawson then. If you're a Hayden Christensen fan, his panel is tonight. And there's other people who are just on Sunday. So I think you get the bulk of the experience no matter what day you come. So we open at 3 today, 9.30 tomorrow, and 9.30 on Sunday. ComicConLA.com, there are tickets available. I love it. But the important thing is the vibe is about 70% of it. And the other 30% is what do you personally love. And there's so much to love, if you can't tell since we've been out here this morning. Thank you, Chris. Thank you. Sending it back to you. I am so impressed with your costume closet, Mario. I've lost count, how many have we changed into? Do it, work it, baby. Four, four, okay, and three more. All right, all right, yeah, that's right, why did not that show workouts are paying off Mario. All right, Amanda here with some special guests. That's right, ladies coming up things are about to get a little wild right here on Good Day LA. Thing one and thing three, they've taken over our studio to celebrate the new animated film, The Cat in the Hat, coming to theaters November 6th. What do you think about that? So wait a minute, thing one, thing three, where's thing two? Well we're gonna see if we can get some answers and have a little mischievous fun when we come back. But first, speaking of mischievous fun, looks like our weather is having a little fun with us for Halloween, huh Maria? No, I know, I'm so sorry, it's such a bummer when we're talking about rain for
