Brewers join fans on street at celebration parade

Look at him now. A couple of the guys have gotten off the bus. I saw them walking to the back of the bus, and here's why. There's Garrett Mitchell out there. There's Andrew Vaughn is off the bus. Who's holding the – I can't see. Was that Garrett Mitchell? Who's holding the trophy? Here's Trevor McGill right in front of us. Oh, it's Jake Bowers holding the commissioner's trophy. Yep, and these guys are kind of – here's Jacob Misiorowski back up on the bus. He's waving to the fans and giving them the number one. Luis Lara, Jackson Chourio on the back of the bus. I've seen several of the players and their wives, players in particular, kind of gesturing to the next guy. Hey, come be a part of this. Come on. Because this is going on over here. This is going on over here. Neither the fans nor the players, nor anybody else involved, quite honestly, wants to miss out on anything. And something we should point out, Brandon Woodruff has a newborn baby. His wife holding that. Jacob Misiorowski. Yeah. His wife, fiancee, holding a small dog. Look at Sal right in front of us, running down the crowd. I don't know if we have eyes on Sal, but he is just running down giving high fives. You're seeing images, we're describing images. Basically, there's not one particular thing to see right now because this is just back and forth with confetti floating through the air and Bob Uecker in the background. You could script it, but you couldn't do better. And Christian Yelich is right in front of us giving high fives as you look at Contreras. I see tears. I've seen a lot of tears behind us, in front of us. You can understand why. This is pretty moving stuff for people who have longed for this baseball team in this city to have this opportunity. Now Jacob Misiorowski's off the bus. Yeah, we were really clicking along as you pointed out, Ted. Things have ground to a little bit of a stop here, and nobody's complaining. The players are out of the buses, the first bus at least, and there are other buses behind them coming through. A lot of guys out, confetti flying, law enforcement right in the middle of it, and the fans just keep eating it up. Tim, I pointed to you, even one of the officers on a bicycle had taken out his phone to get some shots. He's so impressed with what we're seeing here. As a couple of the guys stop to take a photo, Abner Uribe, Contreras is off the bus now, living it up, Woodruff. They can't get enough of it. And they can't get enough of it together. I think that's the essence of this team. We've talked about it, but you see it right here. They keep gathering together. They want pictures together. They want to go over to one group of fans together. And Tim, not to put a downer on it, but this is the last time this exact team will be together. Rosters change every year. It's the one thing you can count on if there even is a season next year. We'll talk more about that in a little bit, but someone's going to be off this roster next year that's on the roster right now, and that's just the way it is. And so they are savoring this moment as champions because after they all go their separate ways, this 2026 team will be gone.
