Chargers-Rams Injury Update: Adams' Return Timeline

Dr. Chow, later today, L.A. versus L.A. in the same stadium. So no home team, no road team today. A rare matchup between the Chargers and the Rams. Rams are, of course, the big favorites in this one, and they will be without Davante Adams. But, Dr. Chow, the Chargers have been off a week, and you mean to tell me that they didn't get any of those defensive backs back for the Chargers this week? What's going on with their defense? Well, Derwin James got put on injured reserve and he's arguably their best defensive player. The only shred of good news besides some rest coming off the bye is Joe Alt is back for the offensive line for the LA Chargers. And it's actually for the first time in a while guaranteed win for an LA team in SoFi Stadium. There haven't been a lot of them this year. I saw a stat, the Arizona Cardinals have won more games in SoFi Stadium this year than the LA teams combined. Speaking of that situation too with LA, what is your expectation for Davante Adams' rest of season too? Cuz that seems to be one that is hanging on everybody's mind. Do you think we see him again in the regular season based on the information you've had? Absolutely, anytime you have surgery, you think the guy's gone for the season, hamstring surgery is unusual. But this is not a hamstring repair, this is a distal hamstring avulsion. All they're doing is resecting the tendon. I actually think he's closer to the six week mark than the 10 week mark. I think he's back in December and I would vote earlier than later.
