My October favorites 2026: the songs, fits, food, skincare and films that defined my first month living alone. October was my first month away from my parents, so these monthly favorites are a bit more personal: house music on repeat, the Zara jacket I wore every day, the pasta I cooked way too often, and 20 Days in Mariupol, a film I watched in class that made me cry.
This is the start of a new series: every month I’ll share the things I enjoyed lately, from music and men’s style to food and the small things. Should I keep doing my monthly favorites? Tell me in the comments.

October was my first month living without my parents,
yet I'm still recording this at their
place, so that went well and this is exactly what I enjoyed
this October. I decided to get closer to
you and to tell you more about myself,
so every single month I'll make a video explaining what
I enjoyed during that month,
for example music that sums up like living on my own,
movies that made me cry a lot during class, activities,
food that I like, personal things like that you know,
so let's get started.
First, let's talk about the music
and I'd say that this month's music is Maybe Tomorrow by Stereophonics.
This is not necessarily the music that I listen to the most,
but it's the one that matches my October vibe,
being far from my parents
and like feeling more like an adult right now.
It's kind of weird to say that, but that's true.
Then of course I had to listen to a lot of house music.
Since I stopped making videos back in January,
I started to listen a lot to house music.
For example, this month's examples would be
Can't Get You Out of My Mind by Maul Graham.
Fancy Footwork by Chris Lorenzo.
Book of Love by Felix,
Sunny Shining by Tommy Phillips and of course another which is a house
music artist that for me is one of the greatest as well as Bob Sinclair
and then Autumn by Amatsuke.
This is actually a music that I've listened for years
but I've never known
the name and now this month I actually learned the name
and I've been pretty enjoying it.
And finally I came back to Travis Scott
and I want to explain that because I've stopped listening
to Travis Scott since he had became a like really mainstream
but now I feel like this guy like I miss this guy. So I came back
to Travis Scott and now I actually added two musics to my like tracks
which is Serenade and Hell of a Night but of course there are artists
that I never quit for example Kanye West and my guy Drake.
I can't live without them basically.
If you saw me this October you basically saw
this the brown jacket that I have from Zara and maybe
the green one and these gray jeans that I've
been wearing every single day and probably today as well
and I'm just starting to feel the need to get rid of all of my closet
and start a new wardrobe and
these both jackets and these jeans are the starting point for me
and the same goes for sneakers because
I've already sold half of my collection
a little bit less I have like 20 30 pairs right now
But I always end up rocking this pair right here,
the Adidas Samba Wales Bonner Silver.
And the thing is that they're starting to get beaten up.
So I'm thinking about getting a new one.
And I was thinking about getting these Converse's.
So let me know what you think in the comments.
This was basically my first month cooking for myself,
so I spammed a lot of carbonara.
Like a lot, a lot, a lot. I mean it was good, so why not enjoy it?
But my favorite was still this recipe with pasta,
salmon, vegetables, cream, cheese.
That was just so fire. I've only made it like once or twice this month,
but I've never regretted it.
It was just so delicious
and the rest was like everything that I had on my fridge.
But now, November, I'm starting a bulk.
I've actually created my own app to track everything,
but there's a video dedicated to it that will be uploaded,
so I'm not gonna spoil it right now.
So stay tuned and consider this month a warmup.
Then for skincare I don't really have a routine
but there's two items that I've been using
and I'm really liking it.
The first one was the capsule cream from VT Cosmetics that I've
already finished and the second one was their micro needling 100 cream
and I'm not sponsored.
They sent me their products just to test them out
but I was not paid to talk good or bad about them.
The first one so the capsule cream is like a moisturizer.
It's really good but the thing
The thing that I don't really like is that it makes the whole face...
shine a lot like a disco ball
but the second one the microneedling 100 as i understood
is like a cream that you put on your face it opens up
your pores that's the microneedling
technology and then it absorbs better
the next product that you put on your face
for me it was the serum and yeah it worked i guess
This month I only watched two movies.
The first one was Family that was released this year by Benjamin
Funkel or Finkel I don't know but it's a horror movie
and for me it was funny. I really didn't
like actually but maybe I'm the problem
because for me it was funny it was not terrifying so I
don't know and the second one is a bit different
this one is called 20 days in Mariupol and it
was released back at the beginning of the Ukrainian war
and I still have no words to describe it.
I wasn't expecting to cry that much because if I knew that I would cry
a lot then I would watch that at home but no I watched it
in during class so I started crying like in front of everyone.
It was not the best thing.
But it's basically a film that tells you the story of Mariupol,
which is a Ukrainian city,
and how the civilians suffer, the soldiers, everyone.
And the worst part for me was to
think about my family,
because I still have family in Ukraine. They are like 20,
30 kilometers away from the front line, so it made me think about them.
I still have family there, my grandma,
my uncle, my aunt, but they do not want to...
I'm starting to...
get out of ukraine they just love the country they prefer
to die instead of being like secure here in
europe or whatever it's sad how brother countries
are in this situation okay lighter stuff now
One thing that I decided this month
was to pay attention to small things,
in particular artistic ones, so colors, lightning, how things work.
And I started curating my Pinterest algorithm with things I like.
For example, graphic design, animals,
surfing, nature and even interior design.
So this is probably why this video looks the way it does.
And the place of the month for me is this one.
You only notice a place when you stop living in it.
One month since I don't live here
and somehow it's still the place that I enjoy the most.
So tell me in the comments
if I should continue making this type of content.
And now November is starting, so does the gym, the bulk,
and so does the video about the gym with the app.
So stay tuned and I see you soon.
