Video Summary
AI GeneratedThis video demonstrates a card magic technique called the \"Three-Roll Control,\" credited to Seventh Exile. The method allows a magician to secretly move a spectator's selected card to the top of the deck using a series of three fluid motions, making the control look like a series of casual cuts.
Hello again everybody.
Okay, this is a pretty simple control cut
that I learned from Seventh Exile.
And it's called the Three-Roll Control.
What you do is, you have a spectator pick a card.
Let's say they choose the Eight of Clubs.
They place the card down.
You put the breast of the deck on top of it.
And you're making a pinky break right where the Eight of Clubs is.
Right there.
Then what you do is you split half the pack.
Just like that. So now you've got it in three sections.
Then you let
you hold on to the second section
just like that. So you let the first section
fall, flip it up. The second
section fall, flip it up. The third
section fall, flip it up. And you've just
controlled the Eight of Clubs to the top
of the deck. Let's try it again.
Spectator picks the King of Spades.
This time we'll keep the
King of Spades face up. We cover
it up.
We split the pack right in half.
We let the first one fall, flip it up. Second fall, flip it up. Third
fall, flip it up. We've just controlled the king
of spades right to the top. Then we could do a
couple of false cuts, swivel cuts, and keep the king right on top.
But this three roll control
I really like.
Because it looks really convincing.
Again, Ten of Diamonds.
Cover it up.
Split the pack in half.
Let the first one fall.
Flip it up.
Second one fall.
Flip it up.
Third one fall.
Flip it up.
And the Ten of Diamonds is controlled right to the top.
So, I credit that one to Seventh Exile.
It's called Three Roll Control.
Thank you.
See you next time.
