Dave, it's a mild pattern for us now that we're into early November.
Now, there is a weak system moving through Indiana right now.
There are a couple of very light showers creeping up onto
the Michigan side of the border.
So between now and midnight,
a couple of sprinkles are certainly a possibility.
This is all light stuff, a better chance around Dayton and Columbus.
I'll step out of the way and show you.
Ford Field, that's where the action took place earlier today.
What a great game between the Lions and the Vikings.
Let's take a look at the daytime highs.
How about 67 degrees for us?
Even milder up around Port Huron.
Look at Mount Pleasant, 70 degrees with all the clouds.
66 is for Lansing and Grand Rapids.
But the Almanac shows 67 and 50 degrees.
Look at the averages, 55 and 39.
So we're way above those average numbers.
Look at the records, 81 and 21.
There's your sunset now that we have changed the clocks,
527, that's almost.
50 minutes ago, we had the official sunset, so it's dark out there now.
60 in Jackson, 63 in Flint, 57 in Port Huron.
There's Windsor, 57 degrees, 55 down in Monroe.
The wind is very light, and it'll stay
that way for tonight and again tomorrow,
but it's relatively mild up around Green Bay, 61.
Look at Ironwood in the western UP.
There's 64 degrees, 65 in Columbus, just a bit cooler.
East of us, Toronto coming in at 54.
There's Chicago at 60 degrees.
The cold air, well, it's coming down through parts of the Rockies.
Also, some cold air in northern New England, Boston coming in at 53.
But if you need some warm spots, how about Dallas and New Orleans?
Orlando, Florida, 73 degrees for us.
High pressure is going to retreat. There it is
over New York City. And then
our next weather system brings in warmer air,
especially Tuesday. That's election day.
We're going to have highs in the 70s.
This area of rain will ease into the region Wednesday
and then eventually on the backside.
It does turn cooler. That'll be for the end of the week.
So for the rest of tonight, cloudy skies.
Perhaps a few sprinkles out there,
but look at the overnight low, 52 degrees.
We're back to 66 tomorrow, a dry Monday with mostly cloudy skies.
It gets even warmer for your election day.
Wednesday looks a bit damp.
Thursday starts the cool down, and then look at next weekend,
highs in the mid to upper 50s.
Dave, how about another check coming up tonight at 10?
