With my Halloween party just around the corner, I'm spending a couple of creative days in the kitchen preparing a spooky spread for our guests. I absolutely love getting imaginative with Halloween food, taking familiar recipes and giving them a slightly unusual, sometimes rather grotesque, twist!

We're making fudgy mummy brownies, pistachio puff pastry bats, green matcha and white chocolate cookies, and a wonderfully purple ube focaccia. I'll also be putting together a gothic char-boo-terie board with brie, chutney, cheese and seasonal fruits, alongside a rather unfortunate little pumpkin who's had far too much guacamole! 😂
