A HAPPY AFTERNOON | Slow English (Level A2) |

This is so unbelievable. I'm sorry, Anna. I'll go somewhere else. I am so sorry, Ella. Here, let me help you with that pillow. Thank you. That is much better. Do you think the baby can feel that? I am absolutely sure she can. Welcome downstairs, Mom. I moved the chair closer for you. Thank you. That was thoughtful. Please take a moment to rest. I don't have a chance to... Here's some warm water and fruit for you, Mom. That is so thoughtful of you, Anna. I can't wait to meet the baby. The baby is lucky to have such a caring big sister. I'm putting this one away. You are such a good helper. Look, I folded this one too. Look how little you were here. I was so tiny. And you will be a great big sister. I can't wait. Mom, do you think the baby will like me? I know she will love you very much. I can't wait to play with her. Listen to a gel. I guess I'm on my own today. Here you go, sweetie. Are you okay? Thank you so much. I'm just hungry. We were so worried about you when you ran off. I only want to chase that puppy. Let's get you cleaned up and get you back home. I'm just so glad that you are safe. This is to help you get started. Wow, thank you so much, Mom. Can I tell you a secret about the baby? Of course you can, sweetheart. Can I help? Put it there. I'll be back soon, sweetheart. Is it a boy or a girl? We don't know yet, Ella. I wish I was playing, too. Here is your jacket, ma'am. Oh, thank you so much. That is very kind of you. Let's get these braids perfect for you. That is very kind of you. Let's get these braids perfect for you. You look so beautiful. This is so unbelievable. Have my biggest carrot if you want. Thanks, you are the absolute sweetest. I'm starting to speak now. It is not fair at all. I'm not going to do it. Is everything okay, Anna? You're very quiet tonight. Is everything okay? I'm just taking what I need. Lily, I need to talk to you right now. I'm really not happy with what you did. We need to sort this out immediately. Seriously? You're eating again? Mmm. We have dinner in ten minutes! Hi, I'm Lily. Thanks so much for your help, Ella. I really don't know what I would have done without you. You are both such- I only accepted the cake. I didn't want to bother Ella. I am sorry to both of you. Lily, from now on, we must go somewhere else. We can't ever see Ella again. It is for the best, okay? I'm sorry, Anna. Tiny footsteps. I'll go somewhere else. And I'll hold your mother's hand. Excuse me, have you seen a blonde girl with two braids near this park today? Where could she have gone? I wonder why Lily didn't show up. I'm sure she just had other things to do. Anna, have you seen where Lily went? No, I haven't seen her today. Ella told me that Lily was an orphan. I feel so sorry for her and want to help. Yes, she is very pitiful. Sometimes Lily does not have enough food. She depends on safe assistance. I could not ignore a child who needed help. You were only trying to help her. I'm so sorry, Ella. I was wrong for treating Lily badly. I deeply regret it. A hug from Lily was so important. Since my mother passed away. Oh, I didn't know that. I have done something so stupid. Ella, we really need to talk. Lily, I didn't know your situation. I truly regret what I did. I want to help you, Lily. We will find a solution together. Thank you so much, Aunt. We will find Lily to help us. I hope she knows what to do. She will. We will find her together. I'm always here for you. I'm just so happy that you've grown up. Place the supplies securely on the back seat. Everything is ready, let's find Lily. Lily, are you there? Have you seen Lily? She isn't here. What if Lily has already left the neighborhood? She may never forgive me. We cannot control her answer, but we can keep searching and off. Look, I found Lily. She's right over there. Oh, thank goodness. Really sorry for what I did. It's okay, I forgive you. They sound like a turkey guitar though. Ha, ha, ha. A sip? No, you said you wouldn't like it. Hmm, watch where you are aiming that. You cannot... Anna, stop! That water flows back toward the pool. The drink reached the pool water. Now everyone may have to leave because of us. This is going to be so much fun. I can't wait to see the pool. The water looks so clear. Let's get ready quickly. I saved my money for this drink. Here you go. Hold it carefully. Is the refreshment stand still open? Yes, I already bought my drink there. Maybe we can ask Dad if I can get one too. That drink looks refreshing. Where did you get it? From the refreshment stand over there. They have lots of different flavors. Maybe we can visit together later. That looks so good! Get your own! Just one tiny sip? Promise not to drink it all? I was here first, you know! No way, I saved this spot, but my towel was right there. Well, it's my spot now. You are not listening to me. You are not listening to me either. Please stop and take a breath. Alex can speak first, and then Anna will have her turn. Sharing a small amount does not mean losing everything. It can show kindness to someone you love. I understand what you mean. All right, kids, who is ready to jump into the pool? I am. Let's go. Well, let's see who can make the biggest splash. I'm going to win. We will leave the drink here and share it later. Now, please make peace with each other. Okay. All right. Let's enjoy the rest of the day together. Okay. Okay. That is a good start. This toy will give Anna a funny surprise. The tension keeps on growing. I will move it past her chair. That toy. You surprised me! It is only a foam toy. Hahaha It was only a toy shark. It was not funny to me. Turn off the toy and return it, please. Pool equipment must never be used to frighten other guests. I understand. Sorry, Anna. I was only playing. You are still not feel sincere. A real apology shows that you understand how your... Please stop, Alex! You made me drop my goggles! I am only playing. Ha ha ha ha ha! I am upset, but I will calm down and try to enjoy the rest of our family day. Watch where you are aiming that. You cannot catch me. You are not allowed to shoot me with that. But it's a water fight. What will happen now? It's way too wet. Let me help you with that. Blue sky shining down. You promised you would help me. I'm sorry, I forgot. Come on, let's go swim. I have to finish this. Give that back right now! Can I have a sip? No, you said you wouldn't like it. Hmm. Taste. Maybe a cool towel will help Alex understand how surprises can feel. Here is your towel, sleepyhead! Here is your towel, sleepyhead! Hey, let me go! Anna, come back! That is how I felt when you kept surprising me. Anna, why did you move my shoes? I wanted you to understand how frustrating these pranks feel. My shoes are floating away from me! Now you understand how upsetting it feels when someone uses your things for a prank. Please use the net and bring my shoes back. First, you need to admit that your pranks were unfair. Why did you put them in there? I told you not to go in there! But my shoes are floating away! Wait, I can reach them! Heh, heh heh. Hey, do you want a sip? No, I do not. But it is really good. Please calm down, Alex. I am tired of all these pranks. I heard something fall. What happened here? Nothing happened. Everything is fine. Everything is fine. Speak calmly, speak calmly, this shared space, and stop every prank prank immediately. Alright, I understand. I am taking my drink somewhere else. Are you sure this is the right way? You always say you know where we are going. I do know. The tension keeps on growing neither one will step away Where? Look out there! Stop looking at it! I'm just looking. It looks... Anna, stop! That water flows back toward the pool. I did not think about that. The drink reached the pool water. Now everyone may have to leave because of us. Please leave the water calmly. We need to pause pool activities and inspect the circulation system. Understood. We will exit carefully. It is disappointing that the pool must close early. The staff need to make sure the water is clean. Thank you for leaving calmly. What happened here? Alex and Anna, please stay with us and explain everything. We made a serious mistake. The pool must remain closed while the team checks the water, cleans the circulation system, and confirms that everything is safe. We understand. Thank you for explaining. You can't swim in here! We will speak one at a time. Tell us exactly what happened, without hiding anything or blaming each other. Honesty is the first step toward fixing a mistake. I wanted Alex to understand how upset I felt, so I acted while I was angry. I did not think about the affected. Recognizing that mistake is important. Food and drinks must stay away from shared pool water. They can affect cleanliness. Public spaces belong to all of us, them together. We understand. I wish they were here. I wish they were here. We need to talk about our plans. Everything will be fine. But I will miss my friends. Can we come back next summer? Of course we will. A joke is only fun when everyone feels comfortable and laughs together. When it causes fear, embarrassment, or sadness, it is no longer a friendly joke. The staff have to do all this extra work because I acted without thinking. Our argument affected people who had nothing to do with it. We are sorry for ignoring the rules and causing extra work. We will think carefully before acting and respect this shared space. Thank you. I am sorry for ignoring your feelings and taking the jokes too far. From now, we will listen and respect each other. That is the lesson we've... Please don't cry. Everything will be okay. I just really miss my favorite doll. Here, you can use my tissue. Wait, wait. Where is my bag? Who walked by us earlier? Wait! There's a man in a black jacket! I didn't do anything wrong! I promise you! I promise you! I'm just traveling! This is a mistake! Look! We're almost there! I can see the city! Ready? Look at all those buildings! My favorite part was visiting the beach! Let's grab our things. Everything is ready. Stay close together. Which way is baggage claim? This is so interesting. Thank you, Alex. I can help. Let's find our bags. Hello. That was strange. Let's keep everything together. Let me double check everything. Wait, wait. Where is my bag? I can't find my small bag. Let's look for it together. Dad, what happened? My important bag is missing. We need to find it. Is everything okay? Check everywhere nearby. Let's search carefully. Maybe I placed it somewhere else. Excuse me, have you seen a small bag nearby? Who walked by us earlier? Wait, the man with the sunglasses! We should contact airport security. Let's do that right away. Let's hurry. I hope they can help. How can I help you today? We're looking for a bag. It was a small bag containing important personal items. Thank you, I'm recording everything now. Let's review the security footage. Please open the baggage claim cameras. Let's go back a few minutes. But something very... That's where I was standing. I hope we find something. Wait! There's a man in a black jacket! Bumped into earlier! Let's check the next area on the list. Patrol units, please locate this individual immediately. We need assistance at Gate 7. Clear the lane for passengers. The man? Search, Rex! Something seems wrong. Sir, we need to inspect your luggage. There's no reason to check it. Sir, it's standard procedure. We're here to help with your request. I didn't do anything wrong. I promise you. I promise you. I'm just traveling. This is a mistake. This is the final request. Please place the suitcase down. Let me explain what happened. I missed my boarding call because of the delay. Let's review the details together. That person looks familiar. Let's verify that all the items are here. That's my scarf! My scarf! Sure. Dreams shine high. That's my wallet! It's a busy airport. That's my wallet! Call it! That's mine! Molly! I recognize that. A hidden clue. Thank you. Oh my goodness. Thank you so much. Thank you. Wait, I know that bag. That's my bag! I'm so relieved. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Sir, you must remove your sunglasses. I'm glad I remembered him. Your observation was very helpful, Alex. Good job, Rex. Well done, Rex. Thank you, everyone. I'm so happy we found everything. Rex knew exactly where to look. Amazing. Thank you all for staying calm and helping each other. I had the most amazing day at work today. Me too. I got an A. That is amazing. How about you, buddy? How was your trip? Then Rex found the suitcase and everything changed! Rex was a real hero! He saved the entire day! Always keep an eye on your belongings when you're in public places. Stay calm. Contact the proper authorities whenever you need how you need help. We learned an important lesson today. I'll remember that too!
