Today we`ll be exploring to The Royal Institution Of Great Britain.

Albemarle Street was built by a syndicate of developers headed by Sir Thomas Bond. The syndicate purchased a Piccadilly mansion called Clarendon House from Christopher Monck, 2nd Duke of Albemarle in 1684, which had fallen into ruin due to neglect caused by the dissolute duke's spendthrift ways.

Brown's Hotel is a luxury hotel in Mayfair, London, established in 1837 and owned by Rocco Forte Hotels since 3 July 2003.

The Royal Institution was founded in March 1799 with the aim of introducing new technologies and teaching science to the general public. The Ri moved to our current premises at 21 Albemarle Street a few months later and we have been here ever since.

The Arcade was constructed in 1879 and connects Old Bond Street with Albemarle Street in the heart of London's most exclusive shopping district, Mayfair. It is the city's oldest purpose-built shopping arcade.
