'RHOP' recap: Wendy grills Tia & Rob over dating app scandal

Rob, why do you feel lonely? You don't need to answer that. No, no, no, I got it. I'm Danny Murphy. I'm Evan Real. And the Potomac ladies are keeping it, you know, fun, interesting, and investigative. Because Wendy's questions to Tia. If he's saying that he did this because he's lonely, when you travel without him, does that add to the loneliness? I think that's Tia's understanding. I'm just curious. You're speechless. Yes! I mean I was Watching it and thinking, wow, these are all the questions I want to know the answers to. But what I really appreciated about Wendy is that I don't think she was interrogating Tia's husband for the sake of interrogating him. As she mentioned in her confessional, and I think I believe her when she says that she was simply asking questions, she felt. Tia hadn't asked yet. I think she was trying to get information out of Tia's husband to equip Tia with the knowledge she needs to move forward however she wants to move forward in her marriage. And also I feel too, because I mean, Tia obviously was on last season, but she did not have this type of drama with her. So I feel Wendy's also kind of like now that people like Ashley Darby is doing live events where this tea spilled a little bit. more people are going to be asking questions and you can't really operate just in the safety of your house to work this all out because you are on a public platform and you do have to work it out. And also questions that I feel her mom won't even ask because Tia's mom, it was interesting when Tia was like, because her dad had another family, the mom's like, this is nothing. And I mean, It is less than that, but still is a traumatic thing that Tia and her husband had to go through. Or Tia, because her husband put her through it. Like, I can follow that logic. I can understand why that would be her mother's perspective, but that might be frustrating for Tia. Although Tia did tell Wendy, this is not the darkest moment of their marriage. So... What was that? So I'm a little bit confused. Like, I do wonder, is this really impacting Tia on a soul level? Does she actually care? I don't know if it's like the British in her where she was like, you just keep it moving. Right. Yeah, exactly. But Tia did not seem happy. Even though Wendy was asking the questions from a good place, and also we were all very curious about the answers to these questions, Tia was not happy because in her confessional, she was sort of just like, oh, she's just deflecting. We're trying to ask questions to she like and currently where Wendy stands I can see why Tia would think that because of course she has this legal situation coming up that she's dealing with she and Eddie also seem to be a bit on the rocks which Tia has clocked and when Wendy was like I just want the best for y'all Tia said something to the effect of well I just want the best for y'all too oh I know I mean she was pretty she was pretty defensive at that dinner but my question for Tia and I do love Tia so much I honestly really do love Tia like What did you think was going to happen? That's what I'm like, because that's what you were so confused. You're like, you're sitting down with your husband for a double date. Right. And Wendy is very well aware of the situation. So, of course, the conversation is going to come up. I just thought because I think Tia is obviously a very smart woman. I thought that maybe she and her husband would have linked up to sort of like figure out their talking points, how they're going to frame this. Maybe is that. Pretty bad, it must be. Well, also, I bet she's like, I don't really want to talk to him right now, but I have to have a whole game plan. Yeah. I mean, even when we saw Wendy and Eddie talking, he was like, do you love me? And she said, we're asking the hard questions. So are you compelled to stay with me, or do you still love me? Oh, okay. We're asking the hard questions. Yeah. She did say she does. They both, I think, do still have some love for each other. They both said that. But we were saying, too, Eddie really is saying, when he said that Wendy didn't know everything going on in the house. Can that clip be used in court? Because I feel it will be. No, I know. It's kind of insane how. How well things are going for Wendy on the show, because this narrative or I mean, the truth potentially is being constructed right in front of our eyes that Eddie is the one who is at fault for all the financial troubles and legal issues, et cetera, that they got in trouble for this alleged fraud situation with the with the insurance. And he is kind of like already taking ownership, which I think is going to work very well for Wendy in court. They have separate legal teams. They banded together to build the case that Eddie's the bad guy. That's kind of the vibe I was getting. He's not fighting against it. He's like offering the court this on a silver platter. Like she didn't know everything. Yeah, which, who knows? Yeah. And look, I get it. As someone who's kind of like a bit of a passenger princess in my marriage, you know, I let Brian handle his Brian things. I need to start bossing up. You guess? Well, I mean, even. I feel Kyle Richards one time said on an episode of Beverly Hills, she's like, I have never looked at a single document my husband has me sign, Mauricio. I just signed it. I feel like she said something to that effect. No, she did because I fully resonated with it. I am Kyle. I am Teresa. I am Wendy. Will I be behind bars one day? Who knows? Who knows? Kyle isn't. Kyle's not. Do you know what? Wendy is trending. I feel like I'm starting to really feel Wendy again. I'm not. Like, I know that we spoke about Wendy and her legal issues, et cetera, in the past. And it was kind of like, oh, God, that's a crazy ass headline. And we were just like, yes. And maybe we did the reasonably shady route. Maybe where we were talking about it with shock. Well, I think because it was so we were talking, we were shocked and we were talking because we were talking to her for her wife's swap press day. And then the news broke the next day. It was like the next night. So it was just a lot of like, what the hell is happening? But I will say, I don't know, maybe it was this conversation with Tia where she was asking questions I wanted to know the answers to. The way she's moving through this season, despite all the legal stuff happening, I'm just really feeling her. I don't know if it's a hot take. It shows also a level of internal strength and groundedness, too. Yeah, I feel there's that. I think so. She also looks fabulous. Well, why not? I mean, she looks so good. And I will say, I don't know what it is. I don't know if like Eddie has made changes, but he's kind of looking really cute to me. He's so cute. They're just a really good looking couple. Also, the kids are cute. I don't know. I just really here for the Osefos. That's why I love them on Wife Swap. That was a fun episode. No, they have to do another season. I know. If there was another girl from Potomac to do Wife Swap, who would you want to see on it? Well, I guess now Ashley has her full house. Oh, how fun was that? Also, that little intro was so cute. I love it. That was so cute. Shout out to the editors. That was amazing. That was really, really fun. So I feel Ashley could be fun to swap with someone. Come on. Ashley also taking everyone down to Bethany Beach again. She is... Playing with fire. Just a vessel of mess. And I mean, that was so much love. Especially if she's looking at a condo. If she's going to have all these Potomac ladies in a condo. She said she's open to it. So we'll see about that. We will also see about Ray and Karen. I know that was okay. So when Ray was like, baby, I'm a you essentially that's paraphrasing by the way, but he was like, well, she did say, you think I'm going to come back from jail and just think about like, she was like, what did you expect? And then him just saying to her face, like maybe non-sober Karen was more fun is such a crazy thing to say, especially with the context that he previously said that he almost didn't marry her because she drank too much. So what is that? So don't you like sober Karen? You have to admit that non-sober Karen might've been more fun. Like, what do you want, right? I know. And then it was really heartbreaking when Karen was like, you don't know me. That was sad. And so now they have to, like, start dating again at their age. Hey, that's why they say never stop dating. There you go. Yeah, yeah, yeah. You always have to keep it spicy fun. Yeah. I don't know. I hope they have it in them. They are an institution. You know, and also, Courtney didn't see any, like, bad spirits anywhere, so hopefully that is all good. Wait, I'm kind of obsessed with Courtney. She's a prophet. She's a prophet. And she suspected that... A gorgeous prophet. A stunning... Oh my God, her and her lingerie. Like, are you kidding me? And also, I mean, that scene was so stunning, but I felt bad about the... A medical update they had. So I'm sending. Well, I hope it is in a better place now because of course this film a few months ago, but yeah, I know I really am enjoying her. I'm enjoying her too. She hasn't had a lot of group scenes with the girls yet. Yeah. And we didn't finish the birthday dinner. Cause I'm curious how that all left off. Oh, right. Yeah. The birthday. I know we do need more Cynthia. Yeah. More Cynthia. We need more Courtney. I do love Courtney. I feel like we're getting good doses of her right now. And it was really fun to see her talk about her prophetic tendencies, but then also see her, you know, strutting her stuff in lingerie. It's range. And then of course, you know, you mentioned the scene in the clothing shop with her husband. She and Alexis have been trying for a baby girl for years. And then she found out that her egg reserve was low. And so she's worried, will it happen? But I will say Alexis, he really, I mean, he's like a good shoulder to cry on because the way he was speaking to her and like infusing positivity into the situation, he made me feel so safe. I feel like it's going to happen for them. Yeah. I really do. They are great. We love these ladies. Yeah. Oh my God. All right. But we will see what happens. Cause I think they go to Bethany Beach next week. It's going to be a wild ass time. I know Robin does not want to be in Bethany Beach with Ashley Darby, but she's, she's committed to the bit. She's going to be there. It's going to be crazy. And the bit is not tolerating Ashley at all. So let's see how that goes next week.
