Brandsegg-Nygard scores early in 3rd, helps lift Red Wings past Panthers 5-3

Justin Faulk, over to Andrew Copp, back for Faulk, one-timer score! And a veteran defenseman on the power play gives Detroit a 3-2 lead in the third. It's been effective on the road this year. They've got points in four of their five games away from home. Panthers have won three in a row on home ice. Pass in front, they got it! And now it's a two-goal game, Bransig-Negar. At the time, we watched how this puck is just flipped out in front. Nico Mikula tried to block that centering pass and left the open out in front of the net. And just enough. Verhage, in deep for Kachuk in the corner. Centering feed, scores! Sam Bennett! Kachuk! And that's going to do it. Finney gets the empty net goal for Detroit. It's 5-3.
