Author and podcaster Bill O’Reilly joins “On Balance” to share his perspective on the political landscape just one day before the midterm elections.

O’Reilly feels the Republicans will lose the midterms because President Donald Trump’s Iran plan was not well defined and damaged the GOP’s standing with voters. “It was never really confronted,” he said, noting the rise in inflation and oil prices once the war began. “This is not an election about affordability. Today it’s about Donald Trump. Tomorrow it’s about Donald Trump.”

O’Reilly added that Trump’s emotional response could also contribute to a Republican defeat. “That’s the only thing I can point to. They’re not voting on macroeconomics. They’re voting on Trump promised this and it never happened,” he stated.
