This guide outlines a six-step process for teachers to create professional educational videos using TAVA. By providing raw materials and clear instructions, users can move from initial conceptualization and scripting to a polished final product through an iterative AI-driven workflow.
Hey, teachers,
wanna use TAVA to make a teaching video but not sure where to start?
In just 6 steps, we'll take you from gathering your materials
and writing a script all the way to a finished video you love.
If you can type, TAVA will handle the rest.
Step 1. Gather your materials
and tell TAVA what you want.
Just upload your raw footage, got a lot of files,
put your videos, images, music,
and logo in a cloud folder, and paste the link.
Next, tell TAVA three things.
What it is about, who it is for, and how long it should be.
For example, make a tutorial on video editing.
Use these two camp documentary episodes as examples.
Show how to find the heart of a story.
Keep it around 6 to 8 minutes.
Step 2. Nail down the script and storyboard first.
Don't jump straight to the video.
You can write the script yourself,
or let TAVA write the first draft based on your topic.
Then ask TAVA for a storyboard and a shot list,
and it'll lay out every shot for you.
Just say,
First, make me a storyboard and a shot list.
Keep tweaking until it flows, then move on.
A few extra minutes here will save you a ton of time and credits later.
Step 3. Pick the narrator's voice
and the look of your video.
Want to use your own voice? Upload a short recording.
and TAVA will narrate the whole video in your voice.
Don't feel like recording? Just describe the voice you want.
And Tava will create it.
You can also describe the look you are going for,
like colors, fonts, and how things move,
something like use my voice from this recording.
Make it look like a pro editing tutorial,
with a dark blue background, yellow highlights, and plenty of motion.
Step 4. Make your first full version.
Tava pulls the narration, footage, title cards, sound effects,
music, and subtitles together into one finished video.
All you need is one line.
Go ahead and make the video.
Step 5 is the most important one.
And it takes the most time.
Write down everything you want to change.
Note the timestamp and what to change.
And send all your changes at once.
It'll save you a lot of time.
For the narration, you can change words,
fix pronunciation,
adjust pauses,
or tweak the tone.
For example, make it flow better,
but keep the same voice.
For the visuals, you can swap images or adjust the framing,
sharpness, and brightness.
For editing, you can cut a section, let a clip play without cuts,
or trim the dead air at the beginning.
You can have Tava add a new page,
just give it the text and ask Tava to animate it.
You can also ask for special transitions, like a fade to white.
For music, describe the feel, mood, or style you want.
For the intro and outro, upload your logo
and TAVA will turn it into an animated ending with sound effects.
Put a whole round of changes in one message
and TAVA will take care of them all at once.
Step 6. Keep revising until you love it.
Every round creates a new version and your old versions
are always saved so you can compare them anytime
or reuse something from an earlier one.
After each round,
double-check that every change came out the way you wanted.
Five tips for giving revision instructions.
One, always include a time stamp from the version you are watching.
2. Send a whole round at once, not one change at a time.
3. Say what to keep, like,
only change this line and leave everything else alone.
4. Point to an example whenever you can.
Use the part from V19 at 6.45 is clearer than describing a style.
5. For new content, give the full text,
then say whether you want it animated or added as subtitles.
That is six steps.
