At the moment, we'd like to show you this beautiful Weller soldering iron that we use every day in our videos. The Weller adjustable temperature irons work better than cheaper ones because they attempt to keep the tip at a certain temperature, and are a higher wattage. This helps you get nice solder joints and makes it easy to do repairs.

Ladies and gentlemen, this is Joe's Classic Video Games,
back with another cool pinball repair video for you this evening.
Look what we have in the shop. This is a cool game.
Bally's Popeye Saves the Earth.
This is a widebody,
and it was designed by the great Python Angelo.
Gentleman brought us this. He's been having some problems with it.
We fixed some of his other machines.
A real cool guy named Ralph, and Joey talked to him,
but there's something about, there's
a connector he said that he redid,
and he thinks he wired it wrong or something in the
back.
So we're going to look at all that and see
if we can figure it out, and then we'll play
a little Popeye.
What do you think about that?
I think that would be great.
We have a ton of games in our shop right now.
We've been working through them and fixing them,
and they're showing up faster than I
can fix them.
But I'm fixing them fast.
I'm fixing them fast.
It's not that I'm not working hard enough.
It's we're here late tonight.
Look, it's dark outside here late tonight working on stuff
Okay, so we have got this Popeye
We've got a centipede. You probably saw the videos on that
Um, we've got a pitching or the video on that.
We've got a pitching bat here
That's a cool one. I can't wait to work on we've got a big chief.
We've got a grand prix over there
That one's next we've got a high score pool
We've got a couple jukebox not that one,
but a couple jukeboxes that have been dropped off. We've got a
Okay.
A cue ball wizard. So we got our work cut out for us.
But today is Popeye's Day, or this week is Popeye's Day.
We have a video game store here and we sell people video games.
It's through that portal right there.
So that side of our shop is the video game store,
and we also have arcade games and pinball
machines over there that we're selling.
And then over here, this is my lair over here. This is all
my stuff that we're working on and stuff
that I've collected over the years that eventually I'll fix
and make videos on. You've seen most of this stuff
in the background of all of the videos.
So we're all the way over here in the corner now
because we've filled up the rest of the...
The building with repairs that we're doing,
it's October, and so a lot of stuff pops up,
and I think people are wanting
to get stuff maybe fixed before Christmas or something,
but we don't mind.
We like working on it.
So all that to say, Popeye is next.
We get these games in, and we...
Line them up, and we just do them in the order that they came in.
And when we fix this one, like I said, Grand Prix is next.
We'll move on to that one.
And then when we finish it, we'll move on to the next one.
We try not to work on too many at one time
because you just don't ever get anything done.
It just works a lot better if you do one game,
keep working on it until you're done,
and then move on to the next.
Sometimes if we have to order some parts or something,
we'll stop working on one and then work on another one.
Also, Joey usually works on the arcade games,
and I usually work on the pinball machines.
I usually do more of the technical stuff.
He usually does more of the cosmetic stuff, things like that.
And he also does the technical stuff on the arcade games usually.
But he's been doing a little more of the pinball stuff too.
And we got a jukebox in the other room that we just finished.
Oh, and all of that that I just mentioned is all other people's games.
That doesn't even count our games.
You know, so people ask us sometimes, why haven't you?
Fix the sharpshooter because I got other stuff I'm fixing.
Okay, go back and check out the
channel. You'll see it all. All right,
so the first thing I'm going to do is I'm going to see
if I can find the note that Joey made.
Yeah, yeah, he made a note. The note that Joey made showing
what is wrong with this Popeye
and then we'll see if we can track down what the guy's talking
about with that connector and we're going to do all
that before we turn it on because if something's
If something is wired wrong,
I don't want to send power through it until I can figure out
exactly what he's even talking about.
Let me see if I can find the note. Look, he's getting better.
He left me the it's broke note,
but he also did write down a couple notes about the machine. So
the Ralph's machine or one of his machines
that we worked on before is a Jurassic Park. So we
did that previously on some videos.
But anyway, it says Popeye connectors are pinned wrong.
Flipper at the top stopped working.
Various other things are not working before the connector issue.
Okay, so you can see that there's a whole bunch of pinballs over here.
Remember that part?
We played this before.
We had one of these before that we
worked on, but it's been years, folks.
They all run together on me, and I don't play them a lot in between.
You know what I mean?
So I haven't played a Popeye since we had that last one.
And, you know, I played a few games and showed the thing.
Another thing is, you know, I don't really want
to play a customer, play the crap out
of a customer's machine.
I play it a little bit just to make sure everything's
working, but I don't want to, like, you know,
make it my hobby to play their machine.
You know?
So I haven't played it a lot.
Um...
Okay, so connectors are pinned wrong.
The flipper at the top stopped working.
Various other things not working before the connector issue.
Let's figure out the connector.
and then we'll see if that is related
to that area of the board. so let's pop off the
back glass and we'll look. okay
so here's the back box. it has a color DMD in it.
that's cool. those are pretty sweet. uh it has
the DMD Lux original by PenSound. i don't know
if you need that for the color DMD
or not. but maybe. so i don't know if that's the same thing
or not. um i believe that's the sound
board. up here we have something
or the other.
I have to look a lot of this up.
So this is a replacement CPU board
with a remote battery holder
so that if the batteries rot, they don't rot the board.
And then
this huge driver board.
I can't remember what they called that board.
Oh, it says it right here.
The bottom one's the power driver board,
and then it says dot matrix controller board.
No, we got that already.
Audio board, Flipronics two controller board.
Hmm, ours lines up a little different,
but we'll figure it out.
Where is our connector that has been re-pinned?
Let's see. I think he kept pointing at the top left.
You see a connector that has
been re-pinned. I do not.
This doesn't count. This is un...
Okay, here we go. Yep, this is it. So he's talking about this.
So these smaller wires are probably
switch wires. And I would assume... You know what that means.
You know the switch is all connected
We'll have to figure it out with schematics.
I would assume that it goes on pin or on connector J120 there.
So let's get the schematics out
and see what is supposed to connect the J120
and then see if we can pin it back the right way.
It doesn't look like it'll fit very well.
Sometimes it is kind of hard to crimp these freaking pins,
but we can fix that.
It looks like, oh, they're in backwards, I think.
No? Maybe. Yeah, they might be in backwards.
Let me see if I can get it close enough
where you can see what I'm seeing.
See how you're seeing that blade right there?
See how you just see a metal thing right there?
That is supposed to be on this side, I think,
with a little pin so that it can't pull back out.
So I think what's going on is the pins are in backwards.
We're looking at the part of the connector that bends around.
I'll go grab one and show you what I'm talking about.
But yeah, we're going to have to re-pin that for sure.
So J120, it would be interesting to see.
what exactly those switch wires are.
So here's one of those connectors brand new.
See that little pin there on the back
and then see how this just kind of curves over
and it's all one piece and it's springy
so whenever you push the pin through it can push
that down.
So I think what's going on is these are backwards
so I think this is in there like that.
That's what we're seeing when it should be in there.
It's a miracle I didn't drop it down
now. When it should be in there,
look at that.
See that little pin? So that little thing there keeps it
from the wires pulling back out. I don't
see any of those right there.
So that's what I think is going on. And if you look at the back,
that is the little pin. You can see it in there.
So I think these are in backwards. Now,
I want to talk about something real quick.
A lot of people see something like this and they go,
oh, why would somebody, how did they not know how it goes?
I wish they would have just left it alone.
I don't feel that way at all.
And you know, I didn't know how to do this stuff whenever I
Before I started, I worked for an operator, and I had a...
Starship Troopers game out on location
and I was in the skating rink and there was a coil that
didn't work in the middle of the playfield
and there was an old man at the shop that was the
pinball guy and so I was supposed to call him
and figure out how to fix this thing. I had no clue
how to fix it. I didn't know anything about how any
of these worked or even you know the
basically the difference between AC and DC.
I didn't understand any of that.
And I called the guy, and he's an older guy.
And, you know, I'm not trying to say anything bad about him either.
He just, you know, this is just what happened.
When I called him about it, he was like,
oh, you need to swap the transistor.
I didn't know what the hell a transistor was.
I had no clue what he was talking about.
And so he told me, and then he was so pissed off
that I didn't know what I was doing.
And I can see it from his point of view, too.
But that doesn't help anybody.
You don't get anything done like that.
So personally, I don't mind if people don't know how to do this stuff.
You know, I didn't used to know how to do it.
So it's something that you learn from.
Also, I love obvious problems.
Like, that's obviously screwed up.
All right, well, you know, fix it.
There's nothing to get mad about or whine about, you know.
Fix it.
It's an obvious problem with an obvious solution
that I can obviously handle.
So, like, you know, it's just something to do.
There's nothing wrong about it.
So I don't get upset whenever people swap things and, you know,
they try to work on stuff.
You know, they're learning and just trying
to figure it out like we all are.
The guy just wants to play his game.
He did the best he could.
He didn't quite figure it out.
And then he...
you know figured out that we can work on them
so he's been bringing us some stuff for us to work on
you know well that's good um so um yeah
so this doesn't upset me at all and it gives
me an opportunity to show an interesting little issue
and how we can fix it, so what
i'm going to do is let me just find the manual
and see again what switches that actually
If those are switches, and just see what those are,
and we'll go from there.
Okay, so if you carefully walk through the manual,
eventually you find what you need.
So, power driver board, it's connector J120.
It's actually the general illumination,
so it doesn't have anything to do with switches,
and it shouldn't have anything
to do with his coil problem that he's having.
So that'll be something separate that we figure out.
But I'll follow that to rewire it the proper way.
And that board up in the left corner that I
couldn't tell what it is, that is the Fliptronics board.
So on here it shows them kind of in a
different position, but that's how they actually are.
So it's a replacement Fliptronics board,
probably because, you know,
he was having problems with one of his flippers. And, you know, again,
it's the same thing. He doesn't necessarily know how
to tell what's going on with the flipper,
so he ordered a brand new board to control the flippers.
But it didn't fix it, unfortunately.
So we'll figure out why that is.
So the first thing I'm going to do is I'm going
to go ahead and repin that and get that
out of the way.
And then after that, we'll be able
to turn it on and just see what happens.
So let's see how bad he had it.
So J120, see how it says pin 1, 2, 3, 4.
And the fourth one is the key.
So key is the pin that's broke off.
So pin 1 is here.
And if you look really close,
you'll see down there that there is actually, that's a 1.
That's a 5 because it's 1, 2, 3, 4.
Obviously, that five doesn't have anything
to do with this connection because there's
more than five pins, right?
So over here it says pin 11, which, you know,
that is the exception that proves the rule
is that since it doesn't show which end is one,
but it shows which end is 11, that must
mean the other end is one.
One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven.
Yep.
And so this is telling us that pin one should be brown,
which is the return GI to the playfield.
Get another Spielberg award here.
Um, yeah, so he's got that right.
That's brown.
Pin 2 is orange.
That's that.
Pin 3 should not have anything in it.
So he's got it in there where it doesn't go.
Pin 4 is the key.
Pin 5 should not have anything in it, but it's got green in it.
6, 7, and 8, he has nothing in it, but 6 should be violet.
Let's see.
7 is white and brown.
Which I also do not see.
8 is white and violet.
And then 9 and 10 should have nothing in them.
He's got something in 10.
And then 11 should be white and violet, which is the play field.
All right, so obviously we've got some problems.
So what do you do in the scenario where all the colors are wrong?
Well we need to figure out if it's just
because the colors are different on this game or what the deal is.
See, there's white and violet there.
This is one of those deals.
This is hard to see, but see how this connector connects to up here?
So these pins can be the same as these.
So we might have to figure it out.
So J121,
it says pin 3 is here.
Is yellow, it's the return GI to the insert.
But on this one, we don't use three.
So we would have to figure out where that goes up here
and put the yellow one,
which might've been what he
was attempting to do actually.
Pin four is the key.
Pin five is green, which is return GI to the insert.
It's not on this one, but if it's up here,
it'll work. So, I mean, obviously we got some stuff we've got
to figure out. So I'll figure
all that out, get it pinned up, and then we can move on.
But this is the type of stuff you run
into. Basically on this chart,
the connectors are not exactly how it's listed on this chart. So that
caused them all of this problem.
Like pins one, two, and three aren't even there on that connector.
I'll figure it out and we'll get it all together.
Okay, so I don't think that he actually had it pinned wrong.
So other than the pins were in wrong.
They were in backwards like I suspected.
Okay, so this top connector, he had on the bottom connector.
And if you look, the one side of the pin, the plug has broken off.
Now remember, this is a new board,
so it doesn't need resolder reflowed or anything done to it.
So that connector broke apart right there where the key was.
And, um...
What was originally there was the brown and orange wire.
So he was making a whole new connector to replace that.
But if you look at the way this thing is designed,
both of those mirror each other.
So pin 1 on this is pin 1 on that, 2, 2, 3, 3, 3, 4, all the way to 11.
It's doubled up.
And they do that in a couple places.
If you look over here, I think the switches are like that, too.
You see the heavy traces connecting
the top switch connector to the bottom switch connector?
You got to be careful with that and don't just assume
that it's like that, but it is on this
particular plug. It is like that.
So that top plug, the reason that all the wire colors were wrong was
because it was the wrong plug.
So if you put that plug back on the top one, and then you look at the
bottom one, you're supposed to have white and green at pin 10,
white and yellow at pin 9.
Put it on there, one pin off, or is it one,
two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight.
Oh, I see.
It's a 10-pin connector instead of an 11-pin connector.
So I got to move two of them.
All right, so we'll go from this end.
So pin one is brown, and pin two is orange.
Those should have been on the top connector.
But since we got a new connector on the bottom,
we're just going to put them there.
Pin three is yellow on the bottom connector, so that's correct.
Pin four is the key.
Pin five is green.
And then six, seven, eight should be empty.
So you see, I made the same freaking mistake here
and then showed it to you on camera.
So it's real easy to get this screwed up,
which is why I take my time,
double, triple, quadruple check everything.
That connector there is a 10 pin connector,
not an 11 pin connector, which is fine because you
don't use pin 11, but those two wires should be over one.
So let me move that. All right. So pin
four is the key. You got to have your key in there,
especially if the connector isn't, you know,
all the way across it. If you were one pin short
on your connector, you got to have a key in there
so that it can't be plugged in wrong.
And that's how we want to do it. So I was able to move those
So it's over where they go.
We've got everything lined up now.
Um, and between the bottom one,
the bottom one is completely correct, except it has the
brown and the orange wires on it,
which should have been on the top one, but we're good.
They're in the right spot.
All the wires are in the correct spot.
And then I found this.
What's up with this?
What is this now?
I think that may have been to the DMD
that may have plugged into the DMD to give it the
power for the DMD.
I'm pretty sure of it.
So we got to figure that out.
Um.
And then I guess we're ready to test it
and just see what's going on with those flippers and
if we can figure out what other stuff isn't working.
But I wanted to get that out of the
way first. Now that little deal there where he had that wired wrong
or upside down or whatever it was,
that wouldn't have caused any problems with the gameplay.
It would have maybe blown a fuse
and a bunch of the general illumination
lights wouldn't have worked, but
everything else should have been fine.
Uh, so let me make sure that's for the DMD.
I'm pretty sure it is. And then, uh, we'll try
turning the thing on and see what happens.
Okay. So I confirmed in the manual that yes,
that was the power cord for the DMD.
The, the, the old DMDs were plasma and they ran off of 125
volts and I think a negative 125 volts or something like that.
So the spread was like 300
volts or 250 volts. And the new ones, um, just ran off five volts.
So you don't need that whole
Uh, that handled the power before.
So, uh, yeah.
Alright, so let's try turning it on.
See if it'll turn on and just see what we get.
That would scare the hell out of you, wouldn't it?
Look at that. Check fuses F-114 and F-115.
Okay. Why, thank you, thing.
So it's telling us right there what the deal is, right?
Now, you heard the boom, so the soundboard
is working, at least partially.
You see the GI lights in the back box, at least.
Um, there's a whole bunch on the play field,
so I would assume all the GI lights are working.
Or, you know, the strings are working.
There might be some bulbs out here and there.
Okay, so yeah, let's look in the manual at F114
and F115 and see what that does.
So if you look at this nice new board,
you can see there's two LEDs out.
The 12 volt and the 18 volt.
I'm noticing on my camera, too, that the third one looks
a little more dim, but here in person it doesn't.
Which is the 50 volt.
So it says F114 and F115.
F-114 is here, and F-115 is here.
Okay, so F-114 is the 18-volt lamp matrix,
which makes sense that our 18-volt LED is out.
And F-115 is the 12-volt switch matrix.
I don't like the sound of that, because that's telling us
that we've got lamp problems and switch problems,
and you shouldn't really have all that with a brand-new driver board.
So maybe something was plugged
in somewhere that it shouldn't have been.
This doesn't have the schematics of that board.
If you go to Rotten Dog's website,
they can show you the schematics of that board.
I think I'm just going to swap the fuse because,
you know, a lot of these, a lot of these newer
model boards, I don't know about this particular one,
but they're designed with some fail safes
and crowbars and stuff like that.
And I'm where they, they,
they won't just burn slap the hell up if something gets plugged
in wrong or whatever, it might blow a fuse.
So I'm going to attempt to replace one of the fuses first,
just to see if that gets
us back and we'll go from there.
So F114 is the 18 volt lamp matrix fuse.
It's an eight amp fuse.
Normal board. All right, so we're taking an educated risk here.
It's that fuse that you can barely see
right there. It had a five amp in it,
and it's supposed to be an eight amp, so it could be as
simple as that, but we'll see if we turn
this on and it immediately fries it, and then we'll know
that there's something shorted on the output.
Like what I see. I like what I see.
I see a bunch of
lamps, and I see some toot toot.
Okay, did that bring back the other one too? Yeah, it did.
So we still need to check F1-15 just to make sure.
So why did I do it in that order?
Well, because there's an 18 and a 12, so I just assumed,
and you know what that means, that the 12 was derived from the 18.
So if that fuse is bad, it would kill this too.
Apparently that's what was going on.
So yeah, all the lamps are back.
It cycled all of those balls out.
Looks like all of the GI is working.
Huh.
Okay, so where is the top flipper?
I don't even see it.
One flipper, ho, ho, ho, ho, two flip,
am I the only one that can't do that without laughing like
the top flippers? There's a couple top flippers.
So does this game have four and not, I don't see
another one, so that must be the top flippers.
Okay, all right, let's try it and see if they
work. Let's see what happens.
Okay, yeah,
there's stuff not working.
So the top flippers aren't
doing anything, but it may be that they don't activate until
the ball goes up there. The ball
All is dropped down in the subway down here
and it's not kicking back out.
See if it
finds it.
It did find it.
So that may
be a switch
problem.
Free Mr. Rhino.
The story
behind this game is ridiculous.
Look at that. All right.
So that's the sucker shot. So the upper
flippers are not working. And obviously there's a switch
or something down there where it doesn't
know that the ball's there because once it goes looking for it,
it kicks it out. See? So we got
some kind of misadjusted switch or something.
Wouldn't mind getting it up to the top so we could
Attempt the
flippers just to make sure
that they don't activate once you enter that play field.
Animal Kicker did
work it looked like.
I don't even know how
you get it up to that.
I guess I
could read.
Where is the shot?
How do you get
up there? Watch
the Animal Kicker.
Yeah this poor guy's
been playing the game with a lot
of stuff not working.
Okay.
I think
everything
works
except
that center
scoop. I was
thinking,
I talked
to Joey
and I was
about the flipper thing. So the gentleman said something about
the flipper wasn't working
and there's only four flippers on it and they're all working fine,
but there is this diverter over
here as well. And I wasn't sure if it was working fine or not.
So basically when the ball comes up,
rolls down here, and then when you hit the button,
this pulls in, which pushes all of this over.
Seems like it's working all right.
We'll have to check that again when we play it. That's the only
other thing I can think of that he might have meant
by flipper, and Joey was saying, well,
maybe he was thinking about a different game
because he brought us a couple different ones
and stuff, but we'll see.
So when the ball lands in this trough here, it's not working right,
but eventually it finds it and kicks
the ball out. So the way it kicks it out,
So the ball, basically you...
You can't see my hand.
So on the top of the play field, you shoot the ball.
It falls down in this scoop and then lands right here.
And then this plunger pulls in,
and that's what kicks it back out, right?
You also have this here, which is like some kind of post
that I guess would divert it somewhere else maybe or something.
But if you look, there's a bunch of switches here, right?
And so there is a switch right here.
You hear that little clicking noise?
That's the, that's the switch clicking into place.
Okay. So then we've got this one up here.
That noise you're hearing is inside this switch.
There is a little metal piece with it that's
has a spring on it. And it like goes this way or this way,
this way or this way, this way or this
way. And that's what actually connects the power
from one pin to another inside. All right. And so
then we've got this one, which appears to be the one
that's right in front of where the ball would
For this to shoot it out, right?
So we can test it with a meter to make sure,
but it sure seems to me like that switch is bad
or misadjusted at least.
So it should definitely be making a click, click, click, just like the
other one. That noise you're hearing
is me actually physically hitting it.
I do hear it actually.
Maybe it's way out. All right,
so I'll check it with a meter and I may be able to just bend that.
See how that one has been bent a little bit?
It might be hard to tell, but you may be able to
bend it to where it... So what could be happening
is the ball lands in there and it's like this,
Which isn't enough.
To actually hit the switch you can see the two that there
is a adjustment here, but it doesn't feel the same
It doesn't have a nice where it feels like it's clicking into place
Uh, so I think that's definitely the problem with that
Okay, so I took it apart. I moved the blade out a little bit
and then I put it back in and there's an adjustment
There, you know, and I think i've got it pretty good now.
So we'll see if that was the issue
Um, it seemed like everything else was working, but we need
to check that diverter to make sure so, um, we'll play it again
All right let's see if she's any better.
It says complete jabs to light lock jaw. I think I think
that's the reason there were three
or four switches is because it's
a ball lock. Still on
ball one. All
right see how it
says lock jaw now.
Missed it.
Missed it.
There we go.
All right get
cool. So it it knew it went
in there and it locked
the ball. Try it again.
There we go. All right so
And so he kicked it back out
cause we didn't have lockjaw lit.
So now Lockjaw is lit. Hit flashing lights
to destroy Bluto something.
Okay, so the diverter did work. You saw that, right?
Oh no!
There we go.
You can hear the change here.
So it locked the second ball, right? Ball two locked, it said.
So the way it's doing that is there
are two balls sitting on two of the switches.
Almost finished.
Okay, it saved the ball.
Use flippers to select a reward. Light lock.
Oh, I didn't see it up top.
I didn't see it again. There we go.
Ball three. Okay. So there
are two balls in there and it can't
tell the third balls in there.
So that third switch isn't working.
And since it knows that
there is a ball sitting on switch one and two,
it doesn't want to kick it to search for the ball
because it would kick out one of the balls that's locked.
So the third switch is screwed up. Okay.
Here is the manual and it shows that, that assembly.
So this is the top of it. If you're
looking at it from the, let me spin it around.
So if you're looking at it as if the play field wasn't there,
the ball field, the ball goes in the
hole where that scoop is, right?
And it falls down and it hits a gate. So there's a little wire form
right here. The ball hits that and then comes down this way.
It goes over that switch, which is
probably just a switch to tell the game that the ball has entered that.
So that switch could be the
problem. And then it comes down here
and it lands right here and it presses that first switch.
When the second one comes in, it comes down here,
but it can't go very far because the ball is there.
And it hits that switch.
When the third one goes in,
it lands right there and it hits that switch.
So that switch must have a problem.
That switch may have a problem.
And another possibility is that this gate is screwed up
and the ball sometimes can go through there and land
because the gate doesn't fall back down.
Now, to lead credence to that,
if you look in the manual here, it's upside down,
but someone has circled that part number in the manual.
Um, so we got to look at that assembly
and see if we can figure out what's going on.
Okay, so I pulled the whole assembly out,
and I see what the problem is.
So it's not the gate. The gate is working just fine.
Obviously, this thing is very dirty, but when you knock
the ball in that hole, you're knocking it into there.
It comes down, and it hits the gate.
Okay, the first one lands all the way down here.
That, uh, probably that post pulls in whenever it hits this switch.
I hear the switch clicking.
Okay, now when you get the other one,
depending on how level this is,
You know it's on the play field so it's it's about like that maybe.
It's not actually pushing
that third switch. See how it's moving it a little bit?
It's not moving it enough that it actuates it.
So what I'm going to do is adjust that third switch
in a little tighter and that should fix
the problem because you see the little bit of play in there?
It has to be able to move a little bit.
So when it hits that third switch,
it's possible for it to just push it a little bit and not
quite enough.
When I pulled it out and I moved them around,
I was able to click the switch in and out
where it's not quite hitting it.
So I'm going to adjust that just slightly
and that should fix the problem.
I think I can illustrate what I'm talking about.
So if the ball falls down, well,
if something like that happened, I would definitely do
it, but it's not quite
moving it enough.
And I've got it right now at a pretty steep angle.
So it just, that needs adjusted in a little bit.
All this needs cleaned up too.
Let's see what we get.
Oh, the ball didn't land all the way in the thing.
It saved it for me.
We got lockjaw lit.
I loved Popeye when I was a kid.
I used to watch it all the time.
Probably one of my favorite cartoons.
All right, we locked up one.
Ball one locked, people.
So that's still working well.
Oh, got it again.
It says ball two locked, people.
So here's where we had the trouble.
Missed.
Oh,
yeah.
Candy gram.
Candy gram.
Good job.
Multi-ball baby. I lost that one. Lost that one.
The game is sitting a little crooked. I wonder if
there's an adjustment
for that.
Let's see how it kicks
out just the first ball.
If we get it back
in there.
Yep. That's
how it
kicks out.
50 points.
Okay.
Almost.
I haven't
made a
point yet.
Oh well.
Well blow me down.
All right.
I think we're going
to cheat. We're going
to cheat to get
the multi-ball
to make sure it's working. I want to see how it spits
the balls out this time. I missed.
ball one ball two
oh it's your mother
okay let's see how
they kick out all
right that's fine
that's fine all right it was a fluke people
that's the next thing we're going to check
it thinks one went up top okay
that's ball five though i want
to see about the diverter
let's continue this game let's play
that extra money let's pay
that extra money right um i can't
really make that up there i haven't
been making it at all yeah let's play it
Because you can't really get to that hole.
What I'll do is when I kick it up there,
I'll grab the ball and try to make it where it goes where I want it to.
Like it's just spotting these animals,
but I think you're supposed to go down and hit the specific switch.
Almost.
So let's try to get up on the diverter part,
which is the hole to the left of that jab there.
Missed it.
It's just to the right of that ramp.
Right down the middle.
We're sitting crooked, I can tell just by looking at the machine.
ball traffic
or somewhere
i hit it too
late so i hit
it where the
eagle was oh
it's all right
folks i went into the switch edges
and checked those switches all those switches are proper i
think i just don't know what i'm doing i think uh you kick it
into one of the animals and then
it lights the animal on the screen
and then you have to do the roundhouse kick wherever that is
to save
that animal let's just flip it
a little bit flashing lights
to close the leaky oil pipe
locked her up okay
watch the oh yeah so
there's the tiger I
guess that's a tiger
I'll shoot
the loop
shot okay I
gotta make
the loop
shot okay
so that's
the panda
yep so it's
working there we go did I actually got him didn't
I yeah I got him all right so it's working as
it's supposed
to oh no knocked
up another
olive oil okay
Sometimes the ball isn't landing perfectly flat in the out lane.
Oh might save it.
Nope they took that one from me.
No!
Da-da-da-da!
Didn't make it. Couldn't make that loop shot folks.
Yeah let's continue this game.
My
quarter
going
down. He
actually
said it.
If I
could
make
a damn
multi-ball
shot.
There
we go.
I think I've got about three modes stacked right now.
I missed
the kicker
thing over
there
on the left
again.
I'm not.
Couldn't save it that time or that time.
All right.
Oh, no, it did save it.
You can't do that on that mode, I guess.
All right, so we need to clean it up a little bit,
but I think we've got all the kinks worked out, or most of them.
There was one time when I knocked it into the Bluto thing,
and it didn't notice it, but it found it when it did the ball search.
I think we've got the center scoop definitely fixed.
This is working as it's supposed to.
There was a couple times when it wouldn't let me use that.
I think it was just because we were in the middle of that other mode.
The flippers are all working.
There's no problem with that. We redid the connector.
I think it needs to be cleaned up a little bit
to help the guy out with that and then it's ready to
go back to them. So there you go.
I hope you enjoyed it. This is a really cool game. Wide
body. They just have more stuff on the play field
and I can see where this would be really fun to
play if you had it in your house.
We will see you on the next video people. Hope you enjoyed it.
