Men's Soccer Quarter-finals: Lethbridge vs UBC

Yes, already a few, a couple opportunities for UBC. They do again, well float this in, player Kim goes down in the box and the acrobatic attempt there from Komsija, it's bouncing around and it's tucked in and we've got the opener and I think it's Oliver Herbert with the header, the smallest man on the pitch and off and running just over three minutes on the clock it's UBC one, Lethbridge nil. It's been fantastic and it's going to be big boots to fill when he does move on from the programme. Gobu, another player with CPL experience, cuts it back to Nadal! And Nico Nadal slashes that one home from the edge of the box. And it's 2-0 to UBC with 10 minutes on the clock. And a fantastic finish from Nico Nadal. We had the commentary booth on the other side of the pitch that time and I was just sitting there on my own some in the pouring rain. Marcus Rukavina, beautiful finish, Rukavina in on goal, cheeky chip over the keeper, and there's nothing Tegan Romain could do with that, it was a lovely through ball, and what a beautiful finish from Marcus Rukavina, if anyone follows me on X, I'd shared some highlights from a game in England. Come see ya here. Come see ya! Max Comsea. He's pouncing on a little mistake at the back from Lethbridge. And a whipped in right on top of Rukavina. You had to get a big paw on that to knock that away. Almost knocked the goals off there. Comes out to Tomei. He sends an inviting ball in and Romain was flying off his line and got to that. But it's going to come back in as... Chipped in and it's tucked in from Eric Lajeunesse and what time is it here at UBC? It's five past Lethbridge and the Thunderbirds have their fifth of the evening and Eric Lajeunesse. Now we're going to get a couple of substitutions now for UBC. See? Brian Brandon Momotani's coming on and we've got a sixth goal, which I couldn't see because the subs were standing right in front of us, but it looks like it's on Nugobu. And I said, could he get a goal to go with his two assists? He does. It's six of the best. There's a couple in the men's side in Canada West. Nugobu to Haidu. Cuts inside. That's a nice curling effort there from Cameron Haidu. And again. Up to the challenge there is Romain and he tips that one over. Well defended there. He'll be wanting the free kick, it's not coming his this way. You wonder how much time the referee is going to decide to add on. The answer is nothing. And it's a very emphatic 6-0 victory for UBC. Six different scorers, a first half, four goal blitz.
